SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017: The result of SSC Junior HIndi Translator Paper 1 exam has been declared by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on July 10, 2017. Out of 10353 candidates who had appeared in the Paper 1 exam, total 2042 candidates have been shortlisted for Paper 2 exam. The Paper-I of SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 has been conducted on June 15, 2017 in two shifts. Based on the result of Paper 1, candidates have been selected for Paper 2 exam. The Paper 2 of SSC JHT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on August 6. The SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 Paper 2 admit card will be released in last week of July 2017. SSC will announce the final result of SSC JHT 2017 based on the marks secured by candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam. The SSC JHT Application Form 2017 has been made available on April 15, 2017. The last date to apply for SSC is May 5, 2017. Candidates will have to register online for the exam. The link to apply for the exam is provided here on this page. The SSC Junior Hindi Translator application form 2017 comprise of two parts – Part I Registration and Part II registration. In Part I registration, candidates are required to fill basic information. In Part II registration requires filling of payment details, uploading of photograph and scanned signature. Application fee can be paid either through challan or SBI net banking/debit card/credit cards.
The Paper I and Paper II exam of SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 will be conducted across 26 exam centres. The candidates should enter their choice of SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam Centres 2017 while filling up the application form. No change of exam centre will be allowed under any circumstances. Hence, the candidates should select the centres carefully and indicate the same correctly in their applications.
The admit card of SSC JHT has been issued to candidates appearing for the exam on June 07, 2017. The SSC Junior Hindi Translator admit card 2017 has been made available region wise in online mode. Candidates can download their admit card through registration number/roll number and date of birth. Candidates after downloading the admit card should take a print out of the same.
The SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 will comprise of two papers – paper I and Paper II of total 400 marks. The Paper I exam will consist of objective type questions from two sections – General Hindi and General English and will be conducted in computer based mode. The paper II will be a conventional type test of 200 marks comprising of questions on translation and essay. Paper-II shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-I. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

The SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2017 syllabus provides detail about the topics and chapters of the exam. The syllabus will help the candidates to prepare well for the exam. It will help the candidates to know what to study and what not to avoid. The questions in Paper I (General Hindi and General English) will be designed to test the candidates understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The questions will be of degree level. The paper II (translation and essay) will contain two passages for translation-one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English. The paper will test the candidate translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively.
