SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2017: The exam pattern of SSC MTS provides details of marking scheme, number of sections, time duration, section-wise distribution of marks and mode of exam. SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2017 of Paper I
The SSC MTS 2017 Paper 1 exam will be conducted in the month of September/October 2017. The Paper 1 will be held in offline mode. All questions in SSC MTS Paper 1 exam will be objective type. There will be four sections in this paper – General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi. The duration of SSC MTS Paper 1 exam is 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern of Paper II
The SSC MTS Paper 2 is scheduled to be conducted on December 17, 2017. The Paper 2 of SSC MTS is a descriptive test carrying 50 marks. Candidates in this paper will be given to write short essay/letter in english or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
