UPTET 2017: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) exam has been successfully conducted on October 15, 2017. The UPTET 2017 Result will be declared by the third week of December 2017. The exam is conducted for teaching aspirants who wish to get selected at the post of teachers at primary and elementary level in the schools governed by state government. The exam consist of two papers paper 1 and 2 for class 1-5 and 6-8 respectively. The hall ticket of UPTET 2017 has been issued online and candidates can download by entering their registration id and date of birth. Candidates need to carry a printout of their admit card on the exam day with a photo id proof. As per the exam pattern, paper 1 and paper 2 consist of 5 sections each and the total marks for the exam is 150. Candidates will have to attempt 150 questions in 2 hours and 30 minutes and the exam will be held offline. The result for the written exam of UPTET is expected to be declared by November 2017. All the applicants of UPTET 2017, will have to fulfill some eligibility conditions as laid down by UPBEB before they fill the application form. The eligibility criteria of UPTET 2017 states that an applicant has to be a graduate in the relevant discipline to apply for the exam. Candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to participate in the exam even if they fill and submit the application form. The application process of UPTET has ended on September 8, 2017. Teaching aspirants willing to work at the post of teachers at primary and elementary level in the schools governed by state government had to fill the online UPTET application form. Applicants had to submit their applications online as the board will not accept any applications through post or email. UPBEB released the admit card for UPTET 2017 written exam on October 5, 2017. The UPTET admit card was released online and candidates need their registration ID and date of birth to download it. Candidates need to take a printout of their hall ticket and carry it with on the exam day else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The admit card consists of details like name of the candidate, exam centre, date and time of the exam., etc. Candidates should check all the details printed on the admit card and make sure all the details are free from discrepancy. The written exam of UPTET 2017 will consist of two papers, i.e. paper I and II which will be conducted in offline mode. Questions in both the papers will be multiple choice and candidates will have to choose their answer from the given choices. There will be a total of 150 questions in both the papers of UPTET and they will be divided equally amongst all the sections. Candidates interested to be appointed as a teacher for class 1-5 will have to appear for paper I and those who are interested in class 6-8 will have to appear for paper II. UPBEB will frame and design the syllabus for UPTET 2017 paper I and II. The syllabus of both the exams will be different as per the level of teaching and the topics of each subject.
