CLAT 2018CLAT 2018 This year, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be held by National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi on May 13, 2018. CLAT 2018 will be held in a computer-based mode for admission to the 2372 LLB seats of the 19 participating National Law Universities (NLUs). Apart from the NLUs, the CLAT 2018 score will be accepted by various other participating law schools. On December 20, 2017, the CLAT 2018 exam notification will be announced while the online application process will start from January 1, 2018. The test will be held across 65 cities (approx.) and it will include 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). These questions will be divided into five sections, which are - English with Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Whats new in CLAT 2018?

After Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, MNLU Aurangabad becomes the latest member of the league of NLUs. Since last year, both MNLU Nagpur and Aurangabad started granting admissions on the basis of previous year CLAT scores.

CLAT 2018 Important Dates

NUALS, Kochi has announced the CLAT 2018 exam date, which is May 13, 2018. The complete list of CLAT important dates 2018, will be available with the exam notification. Check the list of tentative CLAT 2018 dates from the table below.

CLAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

It is important for every applicant to fulfill all the eligibility criteria of CLAT. The candidates who are unable to fulfill any of the eligibility norms will be disqualified on or before the admission rounds. The eligibility norms for the undergraduate and postgraduate will differ from each other. Also, few of the eligibility criteria will also vary with the category of the candidates. Check the eligibility norms of the exam from below.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT UG Programmes

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 board examination with at least 45% marks (SC/ST: 40%)
  • Candidates waiting for the result of the qualifying exam can also apply
  • No age limit

Reservation of Seats according to Category

The CLAT committee strictly follows the reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of India. There are 19 NLUs in total offering 2372 UG seats and 604 PG seats. These seats are reserved for the Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories. The candidates who are applying under the reserved categories are required to produce the necessary documents to support their reservation at the time of admission in the concerned NLUs. The percentage of seats reserved for the categories are as follows -

CLAT 2018 Application Form

The application form of CLAT 2018 will be available only in online mode. The online interface through which the law aspirants can apply is known as CLAT Online Application Processing System (CAPS). It is important for the candidates to successfully apply for the test to be eligible to appear for the exam. To start with the application process, first candidates are required to register by entering all the required details. Only after successful registration, login credentials will be provided to the candidates. With the provided login ID and password, candidates are required to log in and start filling the application form. To conclude the application process, candidates are required to pay the application fee.

CLAT 2018 Application Fee

Last year, the application fee was Rs. 4000 only (SC/ST: Rs. 3500). The CLAT application fee is non-refundable and candidates can pay the same via online as well as offline mode. To pay the application fee online, applicants can opt for Credit Card, Debit Card or Internet Banking. For the offline payment, the candidates can download and print the Challan during the application process. Here, the candidates can visit any branch of ICICI and deposit the cash.

CLAT Registration Trends

With each passing year, there is a rise in the number of CLAT applicants. However, last year, CLAT recorded the highest number of applicants and test takers. There was a sharp rise of 13% in the number of applicants i.e. 45000 applied for UG and 6000 applied for PG programmes.

CLAT 2018 Syllabus

Understanding the syllabus of CLAT is one of the major things that each aspirant must do before they start preparing. The syllabus will help the candidates to prepare accordingly and avoid wasting time by preparing unnecessary topics. All the topics and the sub-topics required are provided in the syllabus of the exam. There will be a total of 200 questions divided into 5 sections. The topicsof each section will vary from each other. Check the table provided below to know how to prepare for the test.

CLAT 2018 Exam Pattern

The entrance test will be held in a computer-based mode. Test takers will be allotted 2 hours to attempt 200 MCQs. These questions will be divided into 5 sections, which are English with Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark while 0.25 marks will be penalized for every wrong attempt. Know more about the exam pattern of CLAT from the table provided below.

CLAT 2018 Exam Centres

During the application process, candidates are required to select any three test cities according to their preference from the available list. The CLAT exam officials will allot exam cities and centres based on the candidates preference. Address of the CLAT test centre will be provided on the admit card of the exam. On the day of the test, candidates are advised to reach the examination centre according to the prescribed time along with the admit card and a valid ID proof.

CLAT 2018 Admit Card

Only the applicants who have successfully applied for the test will be issued the hall ticket. The CLAT 2018 admit card will be available only in online mode. To download the hall ticket, candidates are required to log in with their registered email ID and password. The admit card is an important document and candidates must carry the same to the examination hall on the day of the test along with a valid photo ID proof. Before entering the test centre, they are required to produce the admit card to the invigilator. If candidates fail to produce the hall ticket, then they wont be allowed to enter the exam hall and write the test. Details about the candidate, examination centre address and timing of the test will be printed on the admit card.

CLAT 2018 Result

The rank, score, qualifying status and few details of test takers will be provided by the score card. The CLAT 2018 result will be available in online mode only. To access the result, candidates are required to log in with their registered email ID and password. Test takers are advised to download their score card and keep a copy of it for future reference. Based on the rank, a shortlist will be prepared on the basis of which candidates can pay the counselling fee and lock the seats in the NLUs.

CLAT 2018 Cutoff

The CLAT cutoff scores are the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds. Each NLU will have their own cutoff scores and will vary from each other. Also, the cutoff marks will differ with the category of candidates. These NLUs will prepare the cutoff scores on the basis of factors like the number of test takers, difficulty level of test and total number of seats.

CLAT 2018 Counselling

After the announcement of the result, a University-wise seat allocation list will be prepared. The candidates whose names are on the list will be able to pay the counselling fee and opt for Lock or Upward Shifting of seats. The candidates are advised to pay the fee or exercise their options within the time-period, else, their name will be dropped off from the list. Now, the students must visit their respective NLUs and complete the documentation process. Only the candidates who have successfully participated in all the counselling rounds will be allotted seats.

AILET eligibility criteria 2018

It is important for the BA LLB aspirants applying for AILET to fulfill all the eligibility criteria. Failing to fulfill any of the AILET eligibility criteria 2018 will lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage of the admission process. As per the eligibility criteria of AILET 2018, candidates must have 50% in their Class 12 board exam or equivalent examination. AILET exam centre 2018

AILET syllabus 2018

As per the official website of NLU Delhi, the questions of AILET will be based on topics such as Basic Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, English and Logical Reasoning. AILET exam day guidelines 2018

On the day of the exam, candidates must reach the test centre according to the prescribed time on the admit card. Test takers reaching the exam centre late will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and write the test. Candidates must make sure to carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. If they fail to produce the admit card or the ID, then they will not be allowed to enter the test venue. Also, they must avoid carrying any electronic device to the examination centre such as – mobile phone, pager, laptops, calculators, etc.

AILET answer key 2018

Within a week after the conduct of the test, NLU Delhi will be releasing the AILET answer key online. The answer key of AILET 2018 will be available in a pdf format and test takers are required to match the keys against their answers and calculate their scores as per the marking scheme of the test. In case of any errors in the answer keys, candidates can raise objections and submit the same to the exam officials. After receiving all the objections within a specified time period, the exam officials will be releasing the final answer key.

NLU Delhi will be announcing the result within a month after the conduct of the test. The AILET result will be available online in a pdf format and it will provide the candidate’s name, roll number and score. The AILET result will be available in the following categories –

AILET cut off 2018

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that test takers must obtain to get be eligible for the pre-admission rounds of the university. The AILET cutoff is 40% for the General category candidates while 30% for the candidates applying under Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). However, candidates must note that obtaining at least the AILET cutoff scores does not shortlist them for the counselling rounds. After the announcement of the result, NLU Delhi will be releasing the list of shortlisted according to their marks obtained. The higher the marks, more are the chances of getting shortlisted.

AILET Counselling 2018

Candidates who have obtained the required score will have their names, marks and other details printed on the merit list. They will also receive a letter for admission and are required to pay the counselling fee within the mentioned time period. The AILET counselling rounds will be held offline i.e. the shortlisted candidates who have paid the fee are required to visit the NLU Delhi campus along with the required documents to complete the admission process. After the conduct of the counselling rounds, if seats remain vacant then a spot counselling round will be held to fill the vacant seats.

Step 2 Selection of programme: Only after successful registration, candidates will be able to access the BLAT application form. First, applicants are required to select the course they are applying before they start filling the application form.

Step 3 Filling of BLAT application form: Now, students can fill their application form with all the necessary details, select their exam city and upload the required images.

Step 4 Reviewing the filled application details: After filling the details, candidates are required to review the form and make sure there are no errors.

Step 5 Payment of BLAT application fee: Once the applicants are confirmed that they have filled all details correctly, then they can pay the application fee.

BLAT 2018 exam centre 2018

The BHU law entrance exam will be held across various test centres located in 16 (approx.) cities. As mentioned above, candidates can select one test city while filling the application form. Complete address of the BLAT exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card. After completion of the application process, an exam centre will be allotted. Applicants must note that BHU wont be accepting any request for changing the test centre.

BLAT 2018 admit card

The BLAT admit card will be available online for candidates who have applied for the test before the last date. A week before the conduct of BLAT 2018, BHU will be releasing the admit card. SMS and email alerts regarding the issuance of BLAT admit card 2018 will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID of the candidates. To download BLAT hall ticket, candidates are required to provide their email ID or their exam registration ID. After downloading the hall ticket, candidates must paste a passport size photograph similar to the one uploaded in the application form. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the admit card to the exam hall. Also, after the conduct of the test, candidates must keep the admit card safe till the conclusion of the admission process.

BLAT 2018 exam pattern

The test will be held in a pen-paper based mode. As per the BLAT exam pattern, the question booklet will include 150 MCQs and to complete the test, 2 hours will be allotted to test takers. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded while 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. No marks will be added or deducted for unanswered questions.

BLAT 2018 syllabus

There is no official notification regarding BLAT syllabus. However, after analysing previous years BLAT question booklets, Entrance Corner provides the list of topics on which the MCQs will be based, which is -

BLAT 2018 exam day guidelines

On exam day, candidates must reach the test centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts along with their admit card. Candidates failing to carry their admit card wont be allowed to enter the exam hall and write the test. Also, they must bring a Black or Blue ballpoint pen to write their details and mark their answers. Once the exam starts, candidates wont be allowed to leave the hall till the test ends.

BLAT answer key 2018

After the conduct of BHU law admission test, the university will release the answer keys online. Test takers are required to download BLAT answer key and start matching the keys against their responses. Candidates are advised to go through the keys and in case of any errors in them, they can raise an objection and submit the same within the time-period.

BLAT 2018 result

The university will release BLAT result online and it will provide the qualifying status, rank obtained and other details about the candidates. Also, an SMS and an email will be sent to the candidates registered mobile number and email address providing their marks, overall merit and category-wise merit. To check the BLAT 2018 result, candidates are required to enter their examination roll number.

BLAT 2018 cut off

Candidates who have appeared in the test must score the minimum cutoff marks to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds. BLAT cutoff ranks are the minimum ranks that test takers must obtain to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds. Based on various factors like the number of seats, difficulty level of the test and total number of candidates, BLAT 2018 cutoff will be prepared. The required cutoff ranks of BLAT will vary with the category of candidates.

BLAT 2018 counselling

Only the candidates obtaining the required ranks will be shortlisted for the BLAT counselling rounds. These shortlisted candidates will be sent a call letter which will provide the details about the counselling schedule and procedure. Candidates receiving the call letters are required to fill the online preference entry form. As per the counselling schedule, students are required to visit the BLAT counselling venue along with all the required documents to complete the admission process. After allotment of seats candidates are required to pay the fees within the last date. Failing to make the payment will lead to cancellation of the allotted seats.

AIBEAIBE 2018 The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) was conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) on December 3, 2017. The screening test allows law graduates to practice at any court in India. The exam is held twice a year in March and December. Candidates qualifying AIBE 2018 will be issued the Certificate of Practice, through which they will be able to practice their profession across the country. The AIBE XI application form was available both online and offline from September 1 to October 31, 2017. As mandated by BCI, candidates were required to be advocates enrolled in a State Bar Council between 2010 and 2017 to apply for AIBE XI. The application fee of All India Bar Examination was Rs. 3560 for the General and Other Backward Class (OBC) category applicants, and Rs. 2560 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates. The admit card of AIBE 2018 was released on November 20, 2018. AIBE 2018 eligibility criteria

Applicants were required to fulfil AIBE eligibility criteria 2018 to appear for the test. If aspirants fail to meet any of the eligibility criteria, then they will be disqualified at any stage of the admission rounds. As per AIBE XI 2018 eligibility norms, aspirants were required to have an LLB degree from any institute recognised by the Bar Council of India. Also, it was essential for candidates to be enrolled as advocates for the State Bar Council between 2010 and 2017. Candidates applying under SC and ST category were required to upload required certificates to support their reservation.

AIBE 2018 application form

The application form of AIBE XI was available online and offline. To apply for the test, aspirants should have filled the AIBE application form 2018 and successfully submit the same within the last date of applying. It was requisite for all details entered in the application form to be free from any discrepancies. The online AIBE 2018 application process can be divided into six steps, which are -

AIBE 2018 application fee

As mentioned above, the application fee was Rs. 3560 for General and OBC category applicants and Rs. 2560 for the SC and ST aspirants. The AIBE 2018 application fee was non-refundable. To pay the fee, candidates were required to print the challan after successfully registering for AIBE. Applicants were then required to visit the nearest State Bank of India (SBI) and pay the amount. After payment, aspirants were required to upload the payment details to complete the AIBE application process.

AIBE 2018 exam centre

The AIBE XI was held across 43 test cities. While filling the application form, candidates were required to select up to 3 test cities and based on their selection, AIBE exam centre was allotted. The complete details on the hall ticket were mentioned on the hall ticket of AIBE 2018. After allotment of the examination centre, the exam officials did not entertain any request for changing the exam centre.

AIBE XI admit card

Applicants who have successfully submitted the application form were able to successfully download the AIBE admit card. On the day of the test, candidates were required to carry the admit card to the examination hall along with a valid photo ID. Printed on the AIBE 2018 admit card were details about the candidate like name, candidates fathers name, enrollment number, choice of language, preferred exam centre, photograph, signature, address of the examination centre, timing of the test and more. Before entering the examination hall, advocates were required to produce the admit card to the invigilator. If candidates failed to produce the admit card, then they were not allowed to enter the exam hall or take the test.

AIBE (11) exam pattern

The test was held in a paper-based mode and candidates were able to take the test in 11 national languages, which are -

The test included 100 MCQs and candidates were allotted 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the test. The questions were divided into two parts i.e. Category I and II. In the first category, there was a total of 77 questions and 23 questions were asked in the second category. AIBE XI Syllabus

The questions in AIBE 2018 were based on 19 subjects as prescribed by Bar Council of India. AIBE 2018 entrance test included questions on topics like Alternative Dispute Resolution, Civil Procedure Code and Limitation Act, Constitutional Law, Company Law, Environmental Law, Family Law, Human Rights Law and much more. AIBE (11) sample paper

AIBE Result 2018

Within three months after the conduct of the test, BCI will be announcing the result of AIBE XI. BCI will release the AIBE result online and candidates are required to enter their roll number and date of birth to check the same. The AIBE XI result will provide the candidates qualifying status along with other details like - name, fathers/husbands name, roll number, registration number, enrollment number, result status, photograph & signature. To qualify the test, aspirants are required to score at least 40 out of 100 in the test. How to recheck AIBE result?

Dates and details regarding the rechecking of the result are yet to be announced. In order to get the answer sheets re-checked, test takers are required to fill in the Rechecking Request Form. Candidates are required to submit the form along with a fee and within seven days after submitting the form, aspirants will be informed about the rechecking process. Test takers can also visit the Bar Council of India to book a time slot and recheck the answers by themselves. The fee to recheck is Rs. 200 and it can be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Bar Council of India payable at Delhi.

DU LLB 2018 -DU LLB  The University of Delhi (DU) conducts DU LLB entrance test for admission to its 2310 LLB seats. DU LLB 2018 will be held in a paper-based mode and include 175 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). DU LLB Eligibility 2018

It is important for aspirants to fulfill all the DU LLB eligibility norms in order to avoid disqualification at any stage of the admission rounds. DU LLB application form 2018

University of Delhi will release the law entrance test application form online and candidates can follow the steps provided below to apply -

  • Step 1: DU LLB Registration 2018 To start with DU LLB application process, candidates are required to register for the test by entering their email ID, mobile number and creating a password
  • Step 2: Enter personal and academic details On successful registration, candidates are required to enter their personal details such as their name, date of birth, category, etc.
  • Step 3: Uploading of image and signature Candidates must upload their latest scanned image of their passport size photograph, signature, photo ID proof, birth certificate and certificates to support their reservation (if applicable)
  • Step 4: Educational details, selection of programme & exam centre Applicants must enter their academic details and then select LL.B from the list of programmes. Also, they are required to select an examination centre from the given options
  • Step 5: Bank account details and preview Now, aspirants are required to enter their bank account details and then preview their form

DU LLB exam centre 2018

DU LLB will be held in exam centres located across various cities. Last year, the DU LLB exam centres were located across six cities. While filling the application form, applicants can select one DU LLB test city as per their preference. After the conclusion of the application process, the university will allot a DU LLB test centre based on the candidates city preference. The complete address of the test centre will be mentioned on the admit card. Aspirants are advised to select the test city carefully since they wont be able to make any changes regarding the city after completion of the application process.

DU LLB admit card 2018

Candidates who have successfully applied for the test within the last date will be issued the DU LLB admit card. Aspirants must note that the university wont be sending any hard copy of the admit card to their registered address via post or courier. DU LLB 2018 admit card is an important document and candidates must carry the same to the examination centre along with a photo ID. If candidates fail to carry the admit card of DU LLB or the ID card, then they wont be allowed to enter the exam hall and write the test. Also, after the conduct of the test, candidates are advised to keep the DU LLB admit card safe until the conclusion of the admission process.

DU LLB exam pattern 2018

As mentioned earlier, Delhi University will be conducting its LLB entrance test in a paper-based mode and there will be 175 MCQs. Each correct answer will carry 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt. No marks will be added or deducted for unattempted questions. To complete the test, candidates will be allotted 2 hours. Aspirants are advised to go through the test pattern to become familiar with the structure of the test.

DU LLB syllabus 2018

DU LLB answer key 2018

Within 24 hours after the conduct of the test, University of Delhi will release the answer key of LLB entrance test. DU LLB answer key will be available online and candidates can crosscheck the keys with their answers. In case of any discrepancy in the answer key, test takers can raise an objection regarding within 48 hours from the time of uploading of the DU LLB answer keys.

DU LLB result 2018

Within a week or two after the conduct of DU LLB 2018, the result will be announced. The DU LLB result will be available online in a pdf format. DU LLB result will provide the candidates roll number, name, category, marks obtained in the test, category-wise and overall rank obtained.

After the announcement of the result, test takers can make a request to the university to obtain OMR response sheet copy. However, candidates are required to make the request within 7 days of the announcement of the result with a fee of Rs. 500.

DU LLB merit list 2018

DU LLB counselling 2018

DU LLB seat allotment 2018

University of Delhi will be allotting seats to its LLB programme on the basis of candidates score.
