AIBE Eligibility Criteria 2018 – The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a screening test held twice a year in March and December by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The application process started and advocates fulfilling all the AIBE eligibility criteria 2018 can start filling the application form. AIBE XI eligibility criteria are the minimum norms that each applicant must fulfill be eligible for the test. As mentioned earlier, the test will be held in a paper-based mode and candidates obtaining at least 40 marks will be issued the Certificate of Practice. If candidates fail to meet any of the AIBE eligibility criteria 2018, then they won’t be issued the certificate even after obtaining the qualifying score in the test. - There is no minimum required percentage in the qualifying exam
- Advocates who have passed their bachelor’s after July 1, 2011, and is enrolled as an advocate on a State Bar Council are eligible
About reserved category candidates
Applicants who are applying under the reserved category i.e. the ST or SC category are required to upload a self-attested copy of their reservation certificate in Hindi or English language along with other required documents. The reserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 2560 instead of Rs. 3560. If applicants fail to upload the necessary documents, then they AIBE application form 2018 will be rejected and the application fee will not be refunded. Such applicants are required to re-apply for the test with a fresh registration.

Ans. To appear for AIBE, aspirants must be enrolled in any State Bar Council, even if they have completed their LLB degree.
About AIBE 2018
Every year AIBE is being conducted by the BCI to grant the Certificate of Practice to the test takers obtaining at least 40 marks in the test. The test is held offline, and there will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Based on 19 different topics, these MCQs will be prepared. The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes and each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong attempts. AIBE 2018 is an open-book exam, which means, test takers can carry their study materials like books, notes, etc. to the exam hall. However, candidates must avoid carrying any electronic devices such as tablets, mobiles, laptops etc.
