About the AIBE Exam Centres 2017

While applying for AIBE X, the candidates can select 3 exam cities according to their preferences. The admit card for AIBE will furnish the address for the exam venue. The candidates must reach their designated exam centres half an hour before the commencement of the test. It must be noted that, after the allotment of the exam centres to the candidates, there won’t be any change. The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes, however, the candidates can leave the hall once they complete the paper.

What to bring to the exam centre

On the day of AIBE X, the candidates are required to bring the list of things mentioned below to the exam hall. If the candidates fail to bring any, then they will not be allowed to write the exam.

  • The AIBE Admit Card 2017.
  • A valid photo ID card.
  • Candidates appearing under the disabled category are required to carry their disability certificate to the exam hall.
  • A black or blue ball point pen.
  • Any study materials or study aids (e.g. preparatory materials provided for AIBE, textbooks, and notes).

Note: If the candidates fail to produce their admit card or their ID, then they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Also, the candidates failing to produce their disability certificate (if applicable), then they will not receive any benefit provided in the exam.

Things not to bring to the exam hall

The candidates must make sure that they don’t bring any of the following inside the exam hall –

  • Laptops
  • Mobile phones
  • Pagers
  • Any electronic device with a radio transmitter.

If the candidates carry any of the above-mentioned items to the exam, then they will not be allowed to give the test and will be asked to leave the exam hall.
Every year, the All India Bar Examination is held by Bar Council of India and awards the qualifying candidates the Certificate of Practice. These qualifying candidates will be able to practice their legal profession in India. The application process is expected to start from the month of October while the test will be held in an offline mode in the 1st week of March 2017. The candidates are required to score a minimum of 40% in the exam to qualify.
