AIBE Exam Pattern 2017AIBE Exam Pattern 2017 – The law aspirants who have applied for AIBE X are advised to check the test pattern to know about the structure of the question booklet. The AIBE X exam pattern will help the applicants to understand the distribution and weightage of the questions in the question booklet. Once the candidates are familiar with the AIBE test pattern 2017, they can plan their preparation strategy accordingly. The question booklet will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the candidates will be provided 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the test. These questions will be based on 20 subjects and will be divided into 2 categories. The application process has commenced and the last date to apply is March 05, 2017. About the AIBE Exam Pattern 2017

The All India Bar Examination will be conducted in an off line mode and the duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions from 20 different topics. There is no negative marking for any wrong answers. The candidates can take the exam in anyone of the following nine languages –

  • Hindi
  • Telugu
  • Tamil
  • Kannada
  • Marathi
  • Bengali
  • Gujarati
  • Oriya
  • English

The questions in AIBE 2017 X will be from 20 subjects and these subjects are prescribed by the BCI. These topics or questions are based on the subjects that a law student would learn during their graduation (5-year and 3-year LLB).

AIBE X Subjects/Topics

As mentioned above, there will be a total of 100 MCQs and these questions will be based on 20 subjects/topics. These subjects/topics are divided into 2 categories i.e. Category I and Category II. Each subject of Category I will comprise of at least 7 questions. The Category II will have 23 questions in total and these MCQs will be based on at least 5 subjects of the category. Every year, BCI conducts the All India Bar Examination for granting the Certificate of Practice to the qualifying candidates. These qualifying candidates will be able to practice their legal profession in India. The registration is expected to start from the 3rd week of October 2016, while the test will be conducted around 1st week of March 2017.

After the candidates are familiar with the AIBE exam pattern, the candidates can check the syllabus of the test. With the help of the syllabus, the candidates will get to know about the various topics and sub-topics of the exam.
