AIBE Important DatesAIBE Important Dates 2018 – The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) important dates. Aspirants were advised to become familiar with the AIBE 2018 important dates to avoid missing deadlines. The complete list of AIBE XI important dates is provided in this article. The exam notification was announced on August 1, while the AIBE application process started from September 1, 2017. Aspirants should have registered for the test by October 31, and submit the AIBE application form by November 8. The test was held offline at various exam centres across 43 cities on December 3, 2017. The result will be announced in March 2018. Advocates qualifying the test will be awarded the Certificate of Practice, through which they will be able to practice law across India. AIBE Important Dates 2018

The notification was released on August 1, 2017. The list of AIBE important dates 2018 was announced along with the exam notification. BCI conducted AIBE 2018 offline on December 3, 2017. Check the AIBE XI important dates from the table below -

AIBE XI exam dates – Check the events

The various events of the exam will occur according to the AIBE important dates 2018. The stages of AIBE 2018 are as follows -

  • AIBE 2018 application process: The registration form was available online and offline. Advocates were required to fill and submit the AIBE registration cum application form within the last date to be eligible to write the test. The online AIBE application process can be divided into the following steps – registration, selecting test cities and language of question paper, uploading scanned images of photograph, signature and other necessary documents and payment of fee. After paying the fee, advocates are required to upload their payment details and print the completed AIBE application form for their own reference. To apply for AIBE XI, click here
  • Issuance of admit card: The applicants who had successfully registered and submitted the application form within the last date were issued the admit card. Details about the candidate such as name, father’s name, enrollment number exam centre and other important information were printed on it. To download the hall ticket, candidates were required to enter their exam registration number and date of birth. Aspirants were asked to carry the AIBE admit card 2018 to the exam centre on the day of the test along with a valid photo ID. Even after the conduct of the test, candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe
  • AIBE XI: As mentioned earlier, the test was held in paper-based mode. The question booklet contained 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on 19 different topics. Candidates were provided with the option to appear for the test in any one of the 11 national languages. The duration of the test was 3 hours and 30 minutes. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and there is no negative marking for wrong attempts. For more details on the AIBE exam pattern, click here
  • The announcement of AIBE (11) result: The result of AIBE is expected to be announced three months after the conduct of the test. The AIBE result will be available online and will provide details about the test takers and the qualifying status. Candidates obtaining at least 40 marks will qualify the test and will be awarded the Certificate of Practice. On receiving the certificate, test takers will be able to practice their legal profession in anywhere in India

About AIBE

The All India Bar Examination is a national level entrance exam held across the country twice a year. The advocates qualifying the test test will be issued the Certificate of Practice, through which they will be able to practice law at any court across the country. AIBE is an open-book test and candidate can appear for the test in 11 different national language, which are - Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. The test was held in paper-based mode and there were a total of 100 MCQs. The questions were based on 19 different topics.
