The Army Institute of Law hasissued the prospectus and application form on May 30, 2017. The LET 2017 is scheduled to be held on July 02, (11:00 am to 01:00 pm) in online mode. Test will be held for admission to the 80 5-years BA LLB seats. The end date to apply for the test without paying any fine is June 19, 2017. Only the candidates who have applied for the test within the end date will be able to appear for the test. The registration fee for AIL entrance test 2017 is Rs. 3000/- and it can be paid via online as well as offline mode. To pay the fee via online mode, the candidates can opt for Internet Banking, Debit card and credit card. Now to pay the application fee via offline mode, the candidates must deposit the cash at any State bank of Patiala branch. Once the candidates pay the online fee, the candidates are advised to print the transaction record.

While filling in the application form, The details about the venue of the test will be available on the admit card of the test. On the day of the test, the candidates must make sure that they carry the hall ticket along with a valid photo ID to the exam venue. The admit card of the Army Institute of Law 2017 will be available only in online mode and the candidates can access the same from this article. The entrance test will be held in a paper-based test and the medium of the test will be English. There will be a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the candidates will be provided only 120 minutes (2 hours). For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 1 mark and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
The law aspirants appearing for LET 2017 must make sure that they are familiar with the syllabus of the test. The first 100 candidates (in order of the merit list) will be called to fill up the seats under the All India Civil and Wards of Army Personnel category. The candidates with the higher marks in the entrance exam will be secure higher rank. In order of the merit list, only the first 100 candidates will be shortlisted for admission into the 60 seats under Army Personnel category and 04 seats under the All India Civil category.

In the case of a tie, the candidates with the higher marks in the qualifying exam will be preferred. Even after this stage, the tie still exists, then the candidate who is older in age will be preferred.
