AILET Application Form 2018 – National Law University (NLU), Delhi will be releasing the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2018 application form in the first week of January 2018. AILET application form 2018 will be available online and aspirants who have passed their Class 12 board or equivalent examination can start filling the same. Applicants who are appearing for the class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for the test. Detailed steps to fill AILET application form 2018
Step 1: AILET registration – To apply for AILET 2018, first candidates are required to fill the registration form by entering their -
After entering the above details, applicants are required to click on the ‘Registration’ button. Now a confirmation window will appear providing the entered details. Candidates are required to check the details and make sure that they are error free. In case of any error in the entered details, candidates can click on the ‘Change button’ else click on the ‘Submit’ button. After successful registration, candidates will receive a confirmation email and a link to know the steps to fill the AILET application form.
Step 2: Filling up of AILET application form 2018 – After successful registration, candidates will be directed to the Application Locker page. To start filling the application form, aspirants can follow the steps given below -
In the application form of AILET 2018, candidates are required to fill the following details – religion, category, nationality, exam centres, communication address, academic details and parent’s/guardian details.
Step 3: Selection of exam centres – Here, applicants are required to select at least three exam cities according to their preference. On the basis of candidate’s preference, an AILET exam centre will be allotted.
Step 4: Uploading of images – Now applicants are required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. The scanned images must meet the requirements as mentioned in the table below -

Step 5: Payment of AILET application fee – After filling all the required details in AILET application form, candidates will be redirected to Application Locker page to make the payment. To conclude the AILET application process, candidates are required to pay the fee. AILET application fee can be paid through online as well as offline mode. Q. Can I fill the AILET application form offline?
Ans. No, BA LLB aspirants willing to appear for AILET cannot access the application form offline.
Q. How will I know that my AILET application form 2018 has been successfully submitted?
Ans. After submitting the AILET 2018 application form, candidates are required to go to the Application Locker page and click on the Acknowledgement Slip link. If the slip is available, then the AILET application form has been successfully submitted. Also, a confirmation email will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.
Q. Do I need to fill the entire AILET application form at once?
Ans. No, it is not necessary to fill the AILET application form 2018 at once. Candidates can save the entered application data and log in to their AILET accounts later to complete the form.
Q. How to deposit fee at the post office?
Ans. To deposit the AILET application fee at the post office, first, candidates are required to select ‘Cash Deposit at Post Office’ option while filling the form. Then they are required to select their city, branch and print the payment slip. Now, applicants are required to visit the selected post office branch and submit the fee amount along with the slip. After receiving the fee, the student’s copy of the slip will be returned to the candidate and they must keep the same safe till the conclusion of the admission rounds.
Q. Can I make changes in the AILET application form after final submission?
Ans. Candidates won’t be allowed to make any changes in the AILET application form after submitting the same.
The All India Law Entrance Test is being held in a paper-pencil mode for admission to the BA. LL.B programmes of NLU Delhi. In the test, candidates will be allotted 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the test to attempt 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and zero marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted or wrong answers. The questions will be based on topics such as - English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Legal Aptitude. Within a month after the conduct of the test, NLU Delhi will release the result which will provide the name, score, roll number and other details of the shortlisted test takers for the counselling rounds.
