AILET Application Form 2018 – National Law University (NLU), Delhi will be releasing the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2018 application form in the first week of January 2018. AILET application form 2018 will be available online and aspirants who have passed their Class 12 board or equivalent examination can start filling the same. Applicants who are appearing for the class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for the test. The AILET application process can be divided into the following steps – registration, filling of application form, selection of test cities, uploading images and payment of fees. Candidates must make sure that the details entered in the AILET application form 2018 are free from any discrepancy since they won’t be able to make any changes after submitting the same. Last year, the AILET application fee was Rs. 3000 for candidates applying under the unreserved category and they were able to pay the same via online as well as offline mode. AILET is scheduled to be held on May 6, 2018, for admission to the 81 BA LLB seats of NLU Delhi. Documents required to fill AILET application form 2018

Before the aspirants start filling the AILET application form 2018, they must make have the following documents and details -

  • An email ID and mobile number: Both the email ID and mobile number must remain active till the conclusion of the admission rounds since all the communication regarding application process, admit card, result, counselling will be done through the email and SMS
  • Candidate’s details: While filling the AILET application form, aspirants must make sure they provide all the details (personal, address for communication, academic) correctly
  • Scanned images: Applicants are required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature as per the prescribed format and size
  • Name of the test city: While filling the application form, candidates are required to select the test city where they want their exam centres to be located
  • Credit card /debit card & net banking details: Applicants must keep their banking details ready to pay the application form

How to fill AILET application form 2018?

Once the applicants are sure that they fulfill all the AILET eligibility criteria and have collected the required documents, they can start filling the application form.

Detailed steps to fill AILET application form 2018

Step 1: AILET registration – To apply for AILET 2018, first candidates are required to fill the registration form by entering their -

  • Email address
  • Creating a password
  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Parents’ name
  • Gender
  • Mobile number
  • Address

After entering the above details, applicants are required to click on the ‘Registration’ button. Now a confirmation window will appear providing the entered details. Candidates are required to check the details and make sure that they are error free. In case of any error in the entered details, candidates can click on the ‘Change button’ else click on the ‘Submit’ button. After successful registration, candidates will receive a confirmation email and a link to know the steps to fill the AILET application form.

Step 2: Filling up of AILET application form 2018 – After successful registration, candidates will be directed to the Application Locker page. To start filling the application form, aspirants can follow the steps given below -

  • Select NLU Delhi from the list of colleges
  • Click on ‘Click here to Apply’ button
  • Select the course and then click on ‘Apply Now’ button
  • Now applicants will be redirected to the online AILET application form 2018
  • Fill in the required details

In the application form of AILET 2018, candidates are required to fill the following details – religion, category, nationality, exam centres, communication address, academic details and parent’s/guardian details.

Step 3: Selection of exam centres – Here, applicants are required to select at least three exam cities according to their preference. On the basis of candidate’s preference, an AILET exam centre will be allotted.

Step 4: Uploading of images – Now applicants are required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. The scanned images must meet the requirements as mentioned in the table below -

Step 5: Payment of AILET application fee – After filling all the required details in AILET application form, candidates will be redirected to Application Locker page to make the payment. To conclude the AILET application process, candidates are required to pay the fee. AILET application fee can be paid through online as well as offline mode. While filling the AILET application form, aspirants must make sure that they select the payment method through which they want to pay the fee. The various AILET application fee payment methods are -

  • Depositing cash at post office
  • Drawing a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of ‘Cyberica Net Technologies (P) Ltd’ payable at New Delhi. On the backside of DD, applicants are required to write their name, email ID, course name and phone/mobile number and then send it to Ground Floor, A-37, Sector 39, Noida, UP – 201301
  • Paying through credit card, debit card or net banking

What to do after submitting the AILET application form 2018?

After submitting the AILET application form 2018, candidates must make sure that they preserve the following details and documents -

  • Registered email ID and password since both will be required later to download admit card
  • A copy of the DD or payment receipt if candidates have paid via offline mode
  • Hard copy of the completed application form for their own reference

Q. Can I fill the AILET application form offline?

Ans. No, BA LLB aspirants willing to appear for AILET cannot access the application form offline.

Q. How will I know that my AILET application form 2018 has been successfully submitted?

Ans. After submitting the AILET 2018 application form, candidates are required to go to the Application Locker page and click on the Acknowledgement Slip link. If the slip is available, then the AILET application form has been successfully submitted. Also, a confirmation email will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.

Q. Do I need to fill the entire AILET application form at once?

Ans. No, it is not necessary to fill the AILET application form 2018 at once. Candidates can save the entered application data and log in to their AILET accounts later to complete the form.

Q. How to deposit fee at the post office?

Ans. To deposit the AILET application fee at the post office, first, candidates are required to select ‘Cash Deposit at Post Office’ option while filling the form. Then they are required to select their city, branch and print the payment slip. Now, applicants are required to visit the selected post office branch and submit the fee amount along with the slip. After receiving the fee, the student’s copy of the slip will be returned to the candidate and they must keep the same safe till the conclusion of the admission rounds.

Q. Can I make changes in the AILET application form after final submission?

Ans. Candidates won’t be allowed to make any changes in the AILET application form after submitting the same.

About AILET 2018

The All India Law Entrance Test is being held in a paper-pencil mode for admission to the BA. LL.B programmes of NLU Delhi. In the test, candidates will be allotted 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the test to attempt 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and zero marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted or wrong answers. The questions will be based on topics such as - English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Legal Aptitude. Within a month after the conduct of the test, NLU Delhi will release the result which will provide the name, score, roll number and other details of the shortlisted test takers for the counselling rounds.
