AILET Exam Pattern 2018 – The National Law University (NLU), Delhi will be conducting All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) on May 6, 2018. As per the AILET exam pattern 2018, the test will include 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and candidates will be allotted 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the test. There is no negative marking scheme in AILET, and for every correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted. The MCQs will be based on topics like English language, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. The questions will be divided into five sections that will be checking the candidate’s command over the English language, knowledge of current affairs, Legal Aptitude, their reasoning skills and Mathematics. Before BA LLB aspirants start preparing for AILET 2018, they are advised to understand the test pattern and syllabus. The AILET exam pattern will help candidates to become familiar with the structure of the test. With the help of the syllabus of AILET, aspirants will become familiar with the topics and sub-topics on which the questions will be based. Once they have thoroughly completed the syllabus of the test, then they can start solving the sample papers of AILET to know their preparation level. After solving each AILET sample papers, applicants are advised to analyse their answers to know their strengths and weaknesses. Candidates must make sure that they work on the topics in which they are weak and improve their preparation level.
Every year NLU Delhi conducts AILET 2018 in a pencil-paper based mode for admission to its BA LLB programme. The application form of AILET will be available online and aspirants with at least 50% marks in their Class 12 board or equivalent examination can start filling the same. Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for the test. On the day of the test, applicants must make to reach the exam centre on time along with their admit card. Within a month after the conduct of the test, NLU Delhi will announce the result. The candidate’s marks obtained, exam roll number and other details will be mentioned on the result. Based on the score obtained by the test takers, they will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds.
