bhu llb exam patternBHU LLB Exam Pattern 2018 – Before preparing for the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) law entrance exam, aspirants must make sure they are familiar with the test pattern. With the help of BHU LLB exam pattern 2018, candidates will become familiar with the structure of the test. As per the BHU law exam pattern, the duration of the test is 2 hours and it will include 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The questions will be distributed between two sections – Section I and II. In the first section, the questions will be based on topics like General Awareness and Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, and Aptitude and Mental Ability, while in Section II, the MCQs will be based on English Language. The MCQs in Section II will be in two sets, one in Hindi and other in English, and test takers can answer only one of the sets. For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The BHU law entrance test will be held in a paper-based mode for admission to 230 LLB seats of the University in the last week of May 2018. As mentioned above, candidates appearing for BHU LLB 2018 will be allotted 2 hours to attempt 150 MCQs. Each question will have four alternative answers and test takers are required to darken the circle next to the correct answer. The MCQs will be divided into two sections i.e. Section I and II. Sections of BHU LLB 2018

It is important for aspirants to understand the various topics on which the questions will be based. To have a better understanding of the sections, candidates can go through the BHU LLB syllabus 2018. The syllabus will help aspirants to become familiar with the important topics on which the questions will be based. The various topics in which the questions will be based are -

  • General Awareness and Current Affairs: For General Awareness, the MCQs will be based on topics such as History, Geography, Basic Science, Civics, and much more. The questions for Current Affairs will be based on topics related to the latest national and international events, such as politics, economy, sports, books and authors, etc
  • Common Legal Knowledge: Questions will be on topics related to the study of law, research aptitude and solving problems
  • Aptitude and Mental Ability: For this topic, aspirants are required to be comfortable with mental Mathematics and quickly solve the problems
  • English Language: In this section, questions will test the candidate’s command over the English language

How to prepare for BHU LLB 2018?

To start preparing for BHU LLB 2018, first, aspirants must understand the BHU LLB exam pattern and syllabus. Once they become familiar with the test pattern and syllabus, candidates can start solving the BHU LLB sample papers and old question papers. By regularly solving the sample and question papers, students will have a better understanding of the test structure and types of questions. It is important for the aspirants to analyse their answers after solving each sample papers. Only after a thorough analysis of the answers, candidates will become familiar with their strengths and weaknesses. Also, while solving these papers, aspirants must try to complete the same within 2 hours, which is the duration of the test.

About BHU LLB 2018

Every year, Banaras Hindu University will conduct the law entrance test for admission to its LLB programmes. Candidates with at least 50% in their BA, BSc, BCom degree are eligible to apply for BHU LLB 2018. The BHU application form will be available online only, however, the fee can be paid via online as well as offline mode. The test is expected to be held offline across 16 (approx.) cities. On the day of the exam, candidates must reach the exam centre according to the prescribed time along with their admit card. Students reaching the test centre 30 minutes after the commencement of the test will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
