BLAT Result 2017 – BHU Law Admission Test (BLAT) was held on May 17, 2017. The result of BLAT exam is expected to be announced around the second week of June, 2017. BHU will announce the result online and will also send the result to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidate. BLAT result 2017 will comprise of category-wise score and merit of the candidate. For the convenience of the students who appeared for BLAT exam, a link will be made available in this article to check the result. On the basis of BLAT result, the candidates will be called for counselling and will be offered admission in 60 seats of BA LLB programme offered by BHU. BLAT 2017 was conducted in pen and paper mode and comprised of four sections – General Awareness & Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, Aptitude & Mental Ability, and Language Comprehension. How to check the BLAT Result 2017
The Banaras Hindu University will release the result online around the 2nd week of June and the candidates can access the same from this article. In order to download the score card, the candidates can follow the steps provided below –

- Enter BLAT 2017 roll number.
- Click on the Search button.
- The result will be available on the screen. Download the BLAT result for future reference.
Note: The University will not entertain any request for re-evaluation of the answer sheet.
Merit List of BLAT 2017
With the announcement of the result, the merit list for BLAT will also be announced. The BLAT merit list will furnish the following details of the candidates –

Note: According to the merit list of BLAT 2017, the candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds.
BLAT Result 2017 – Tie Breaking rounds
In the case of a tie i.e. two or more candidates having the same score, then the University will apply the following methods to break the tie –
- Preference will be given to the candidates with the higher score.
- The age of the candidates will be considered i.e. the candidate with higher age will be given more preference.
The candidates scoring the cutoff marks of BLAT 2017 will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. These shortlisted candidates are required to get themselves registered for the counselling round. Here, the seats will be allotted to the candidates who have participated or have followed the steps of the counselling rounds.
