The preliminary answer key of CLAT 2017 has been issued by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna on May 16. All the candidates who had appeared for the CLAT 2017 exam can download their answer key through their registered email id and password. Candidates can submit their objections against the answer key of CLAT 2017 from May 17 till May 19 through an online representation system. Candidates can raise objections in case of discrepancy with questions, answers and examination. The amended answer key after correction of anomalies (if any) will be released by CNLU on May 25. The CLAT 2017 result will be declared on May 29.
The CLAT 2017 official answer key enables candidates to calculate their estimated score on the basis of a number of correct and incorrect responses. CLAT 2017 exam was held in computer based mode on May 14. Upon downloading the CLAT 2017 answer key, candidates can match the answers from their response sheet. Candidates should add 1 marks for a correct answer and deduct 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. The total marks of CLAT 2017 will be calculated out of 200.
Along with the answer key of CLAT 2017, candidates will also be able to download their response sheets. The CLAT response sheet will have some questions tick marked in green, which means question has been answered correctly. Those questions which have been tick marked in red icons means the answer given by the candidate is incorrect. Once the candidates have matched all the answers with the answer key of CLAT 2017, they can calculate their estimate score and compare the same with previous year CLAT Cutoff.
