CLAT ResultCLAT Result 2017 – The ranks, score and details about the candidate will be furnished by the CLAT 2017 result. The date for the announcement of the CLAT Result is May 29, 2017. The CLAT score card will be available online and a link will be provided in this article for the convenience of the candidates. It must be noted that admission into the LLB programmes of the National Law Universities (NLUs), will be based on the candidate’s CLAT 2017 score. To access the result of CLAT 2017, the candidates are required to log in with the CLAT credentials which they received during the registration process. Once the CLAT result 2017 is released, the candidates are advised to download the same and keep a copy of it for future reference. This year, the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, will be joining the league of the National Law Universities (NLUs) accepting the CLAT 2017 score. Thus, there are a total of 17 NLUs this year that will be shortlisting the candidates on the basis of their CLAT result for the counselling rounds. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on May 14, 2017, across 65 cities in a computer-based mode. Steps to download the CLAT Result 2017

With the release of the result, the candidate can visit this article to download the same. In order to access the CLAT scorecard, the candidates can follow the steps given below –

  • Click on the link provided in the article.
  • The candidate login page will appear. Here, the candidates are required to enter their email ID & password and click on login.
  • Now, click on the result tab.
  • On accessing the result cum scorecard, the candidates are advised to download the same and keep a copy of it.

The CLAT 2017 Scorecard will furnish the following details of the candidate –

  • Name.
  • Father’s name.
  • Roll number.
  • Application number.
  • Category.
  • CLAT score.
  • All India Rank.
  • Category Rank,
  • NRI Rank.
  • NRI Sponsored Rank.

CLAT tie-breaking method

In the case of any two or more candidates with equal score in the CLAT result, then the following procedures will be applied to break the tie –

  • The candidates with higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section of CLAT.
  • Candidates with higher age will be given more priority.
  • Random draw of lots by computer.

CLAT Cutoff Scores

The cutoff scores for CLAT will be released by the various Institutes accepting the CLAT score. The cutoff marks are the minimum scores that a candidate must score to be eligible for the pre-admission process of the Institutes. These Institutes will have their own cutoff scores, thus, the marks will vary from each other. For years, the cutoff marks remain almost the same, therefore, the cutoff marks for this year also is expected to remain somewhat closer to each other.
