CLAT Syllabus 2018 – The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 will include 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on topics such as - English including Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. Law aspirants must get familiar with the CLAT syllabus 2018 before they start preparing for the test. With the help of the syllabus for CLAT, candidates will be able to know the topics and sub-topics. Also, the CLAT syllabus will help the aspirants to avoid wasting time on unnecessary topics. Last year in CLAT, topics such as General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Legal Aptitude carried more weightage. The CLAT syllabus will help the aspirants to know the various topics and sub-topics on which the questions will be based. There will be a total of 200 Multiple Choice Questions and candidates will be provided 2 hours to complete the test. Each correct attempt will be awarded 1 mark and for every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted. These MCQs will be divided into various sections, which are Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. English including Comprehension: For this section, candidates are required to have a good command over English vocabulary, proficiency and reading skills. This section will have 40 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. Candidates are advised to regularly read editorial sections of the newspapers, journals, magazines, novels, grammar books, etc. to improve their reading skills and grammar as well. The various topics and sub-topics that aspirants can go through to prepare for this section are provided below -
