The application process for DU 2017 LLM programmes is expected to commence from the last week of April 2017. Every year, the DU LLM entrance test is held for admission 2 years and 3 years LL.M programme. It is important for the candidates to fulfill all the eligibility criteria of DU LLM. If the candidates fail to meet any of the DU LLM eligibility norms, then their candidature will be cancelled on or before the admission process. The DU LLM 2017 application form will be available only in online mode and the law aspirants must make sure that they fill in and submit the same before the end date in order to appear for the test. First, the candidates are required to register by entering their name, email address, mobile number, etc. Only after successful registration, the candidates will be able to access the application form. The candidates must make sure that they correctly enter the required details. In the case of any error in the application details, the candidates will be disqualified on or before the counselling rounds.
Lastly, while filling in the application form, the candidates are required pay the application fee to conclude the application process. Details about the application fee of DU LLM will be announced with the notification of the exam. The application fee can be paid only via online mode. It must be noted that the application fee is non-refundable.
There is a total of 100 seats and 08 supernumerary seats in the LL.M programmes of the University of Delhi. For the 2-year LL.M programme, there are 54 seats and 05 supernumerary seats, while in the 3-year LL.M programme, there are 46 seats and 03 supernumerary seats. These supernumerary seats are reserved for the Physically Handicapped (PH), Children Wards of Armed Forces Personnel (CW) and Foreign Nationals (FN). The reservation criteria of the University are according to the Government of India norms.
The entrance test for DU LLM 2017 will be held across various cities of India. While filling in the application form, the candidates must make sure that they enter their preference for the test city. Also, the candidates must check the convenience of travel while entering their preference for the test city. Details about the test centre for DU LLM will be furnished on the admit card of the exam. On the day of the test, the candidates must make sure that they reach the test centre on time.
The candidates who have filled and submitted the application form on or before the deadline will be issued the admit card. The result will be available in .pdf format and the candidates are advised to download it and keep a copy of it.
The candidates who have appeared in the entrance test must secure the minimum cutoff scores of the test to be eligible for the pre-admission rounds. The University of Delhi will prepare the cutoff scores of the test on the basis of various factors. However, it is expected that the cutoff scores will remain similar to that of the previous year.
As mentioned above, the candidates who have scored the minimum cutoff marks will be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. These shortlisted candidates are required to be present at the counselling venue along with the required documents. Only the candidates who are present on time at the counselling venue will be able to participate in the admission process.
