IPU CET Law 2017 Registration startsThe Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has issued the official bulletin for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test, which is to be scheduled on April 16, 2017. Through the IPU CET Law 2017, the admissions will be granted to the qualifiers into undergraduate law programmes. Alongside the exam notice, the university has also announced the vital dates of IPU CET Law 2017. In order to appear for the examination, online registration of interested candidate is mandatory. The registration process has been started and will conclude before March 28, 2017. Candidates will be allotted seat in the Participating Institutes affiliated to GGSIPU.

The notifications for the IPU CET Law 2017 examination was announced on November 17, 2016. However, the date of beginning of application form is still tentative and can be changed. Given below is the list of important dates for the candidates, to avoid missing any crucial round.

In order to fill the application form, candidates have to register themselves first online. After the registration process, using the Login ID and Password, they have to fill the application form. The IPU CET 2017 Application Form will only be accepted after the payment of application fee of Rs. 1,000/-. The fee can be paid either through online or offline modes using various payment options.

A candidate must be aware of the eligibility criteris before registering and paying the fees. The IPU CET Law 2017 Eligibility Criteria includes a candidate who has passed the XIIth standard board examination securing 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including English as a compulsory subject. Furthermore, a candidate need not attain more than 20 years of age, if belongs to General Category and 22 years for SC, ST and other backward categories. The eligibility criteria must be fulfilled for admission into university.

Knowing more about the exam pattern, the IPU CET 2017 will be conducted on April 16, 2017, in pen & paper mode for 150 minutes. Candidates will have to answer as many as 150 questions carrying four marks each. The paper will be of objective nature with multiple choice answer options. The question paper will comprise questions from various sections-English Language, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

Out of the options, given for the questions, candidates will have to opt the correct answer. One mark each will be deducted for incorrect answer from the total marks secured. The questions answered with more than one option will also be considered as an incorrect one, even though one of the option chosen for it will be correct.
