IPU CET Law Syllabus 2017 – It is important for the law aspirants to be familiar with the syllabus of IPU CET Law 2017. The syllabus will furnish the details of the topics and sub-topics of the entrance test. English Language and Comprehension – The questions from this section is considered to be one of easiest. There will be 2 reading comprehension passages around 300-350 words long. The RC questions are direct in nature and few of them are grammar based. There will also be questions on idioms, phrases, sentence correction, jumbled sentences, fill in the blanks, etc.
This section will challenge the candidate’s command over their English vocabulary, grammar and reading skills. To prepare for this section, the candidates are advised to read and practice as much as possible. The candidates can opt for newspapers, journals, magazines, novels, etc.
General Knowledge – Static General Knowledge questions normally dominate the GK section. Also, there will be questions on current affairs section, science, computers, politics, etc. The questions of this section are direct and easy.
Reasoning – This section is dominated by questions on Analytical Reasoning. Most of the questions were on arrangements, coding-decoding, cubes, change of symbols and numeral analogies. Also, there will be questions on Verbal logic.
Legal Aptitude – The questions in this section will be from Legal reasoning and Legal awareness. Most of the questions will be challenging the candidate’s static legal knowledge. Also, there will be questions based on facts. The candidates who have read the LST-Legal Module would find most of the questions easy. The questions on Static legal knowledge will require a bit of reading and can be labeled as moderate.
