Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts the Common Entrance test for admission to various courses. The University also conducts the test for admission into the BA LL.B and BBA LL.B programmes of the Institutes. The test was held for admission into the 1905 seat of the affiliated colleges.

The result for GGSIPU Law entrance test 2017 has been made available in online mode on May 23. To check the result, the candidates are required to enter their CET roll number, select the programme and click on Submit. The candidates can check their result by clicking on the sub-head above.
It must be noted that the result will be available online only and will furnish the candidates name, category and rank.

The cutoff marks the minimum scores that the candidates must score to be eligible for the admission rounds. The cutoff scores will be determined by the University and will vary for each Institute. Also, the cutoff marks will be different for the various categories. After the announcement of the result, the cutoff scores will be announced.
Based on the merit list and cutoff marks, the counselling rounds will be conducted by the University. To start with the counselling process, the candidates are required to register online. The counselling round involves document verification rounds and seat allotment process. The candidates are required to be present physically for the counselling rounds at the provided venue on the given date.
There will be 3 rounds of counselling for admission into the 5-year B.A. LL.B and B.B.A. LL.B programmes of the University and other participating Institutes.
Before the candidates start with the registration procedure, the candidates are requested to check the eligibility norms of the exam. The eligibility norms are the minimum requirements that a candidate must have to be eligible for the admission process. If the candidates fail to meet any of the norms, then their candidature will be cancelled.
To be eligible for the IPU CET Law Admission 2017, the candidates must have passed their Class 10+2 board exam from a recognized board. The minimum required aggregate mark in the Class 12 board exam is 50%. Also, the candidates must have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
Only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for IPU CET LLB 2017 must start with the registration process. With the commencement of the application process, the candidates must register by entering the required details. On successful registration, the candidates will be eligible to access the application form for IPU CET Law 2017. To conclude the IPU CET LLB application process, the candidates must make sure that they pay the application fee. The reservation norms will vary with the participating Institutes for GGSIPU CET Law 2017. However, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirements for the candidates applying under Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
The candidates applying under any reserved categories are required to produce the documents supporting their reservations during the Document Verification rounds.
As many as 11 Institutes accept the scores for GGSIPU CET Law 2017 for admission into their undergraduate law programmes. The candidates who have submitted the application form before the deadline will be allotted the admit card for IPU CET 2017. The admit card will be available online 7 days prior to the exam date. The candidates can access the admit card by clicking on the sub-heading above. To access the admit card, the candidates are required to login into their accounts.
The admit card is an important document and the candidates are required to produce it to the invigilator on the day of the exam to seek entry into the exam hall. If the candidates fail to produce the exam hall, then they will not be allowed to write the exam. The hall ticket for IPU CET Law 2017 will furnish the details of the candidate as well of the exam.
The candidates preparing for the entrance test must be familiar with the test pattern. With the help of the test patten, the candidates will be able to prepare accordingly and will be familiar with the distribution of the questions. In the IPU CET law 2017, the candidates are required to solve as many as 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration of the test is 2 hours 30 minutes i.e. 150 minutes. The test will be held in an offline mode and the total mark is 600.
