LSAT India 2018 is a national level examination conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of USA-based LSAC. LSAT 2018 is a pencil and paper based test scheduled to be held on May 20. LSAT India is conducted for admission to law programmes at more than 80 law schools in India. LSAT 2018 application fee is Rs. 4250 with LSAT India handbook and Rs. 3800 without the handbook. LSAT India application form 2018

The application form of LSAT India is available online from October 4, 2017. Eligible applicants have to follow the steps given below to apply for the test –

  • Step 1: Register for the test by entering email ID, name and creating a password
  • Step 2: Log in with the registered email ID and password to fill the LSAT India application form
  • Step 3: Select the law programme
  • Step 4: Submit LSAT India Test centre
  • Step 5: Select associate colleges from the provided list
  • Step 6: Enter academic details

LSAT India 2018 exam centre

The test is conducted across 20 cities in paper-pencil mode. LSAT India exam centre will be allotted according to the test city preference entered in the application form. Complete address of the LSAT-India examination centre will be mentioned on the admit card along with the timing of the test. LSAT India 2018 admit card

The admit card of LSAT India 2018 will be released online on May 5, 2018. Applicants who have successfully applied for the test within the given time period will be able to download LSAT India 2018 dmit card. To download the admit card of LSAT India, applicants have to enter their registered email ID and password. Details about candidate’s registration, photograph, timing of the test, address of the examination centre etc. will be mentioned on the LSAT-India admit card. LSAT India 2018 exam pattern

As mentioned above, the test will be held in a paper-pencil based mode and it will include around 100 MCQs divided into four sections. The duration of the test is 2 hours 20 minutes and 35 minutes will be allotted for each section of the question booklet. In the exam, candidates answering a particular section currently allotted won’t be able to move to another section before the allotted sectional time is over. All the questions will carry equal marks and based on candidate’s total correct attempt, the percentile will be calculated. There is no negative marking for wrong attempts in LSAT India. LSAT India exam day guidelines 2018

On the day of the test, applicants are required to reach the exam centre on or before the reporting time printed on the admit card. To the examination centre, candidates must make sure to carry the following items:

Two weeks after the conduct of LSAT India 2018, the result cum scorecard will be released. The LSAT India result will be available online and to download scorecard, candidates are required to log in to their exam accounts by entering email ID and password. The result of LSAT India will provide candidate’s percentile along with their details. No scorecard will be sent through post or courier. LSAT India 2018 cutoff

After the announcement of the result, the various participating institutes will be releasing their cutoff scores. Candidates appearing in LSAT India must make sure they obtain the minimum cutoff percentile to get shortlisted for the counselling rounds of the participating law schools. The exam officials will not release any details regarding the LSAT India cutoff percentile. Each participating law schools will have their own cutoff score and it will vary from each other.
