Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) for admissions to 5 years LLB programmes has been successfully conducted on May 20, 2017. The exam was held in online mode between 10 am to 12 pm. It was conducted in several cities across the state of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Jalgaon etc. The exam was conducted by Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra. While the exam for 5 years LLB programmes has been conducted on May 20, MHCET 2017 for 3 years LLB programmes will be conducted tomorrow (May 21).
MH CET Law 2017 for 5 years law programmes comprised of 5 sections – Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, English and Basic Mathematics. The total number of questions asked in the exam was 150. Legal Aptitude section had the maximum number of questions i.e. 40. GK, Logical Reasoning and English sections had 30 questions each. In the Basic Mathematics section, 20 questions were asked.
The result of MH CET Law exam will be announced on May 30, 2017. MH CET result 2017 will be announced in the online mode. Using their log in credentials (Registration Number and Password), the candidates will be able to view the result and download the MH CET law scorecard. Along with the result, the merit list will also be released for the exam. After the declaration of the result, the cutoff scores will be released by the participating institutes. On the basis of cutoff marks, the students shall be shortlisted for the counselling rounds.
The counselling for MH CET Law will be held in the month of June. It will be held through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). To register for the counselling rounds, the candidates will have to fill the application form for CAP online. The shortlisted candidates who successfully fill the application form will be invited to attend the counselling rounds. There are several participating institutes that offer LLB 5 years and LLB 3 years programme in Maharashtra.
