MH CET Law Result MH CET Law Result 2018 – Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra will announce Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MH CET law result in the first week of June 2018. MH CET law 2018 result will be available online and no hard copy of the scorecard will be sent to the candidate’s registered address. To check MH CET law 2018 result, students are required to enter their exam registration number. MH CET law 2018 result includes the candidate’s score, rank and other details. Within a day or two after the announcement of MH CET law result 2018, DHE Maharashtra will release the merit list. Based on the candidate’s rank, they will be shortlisted for the Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds. The MH CET law notification is expected to be available in the first week of February 2018. MH CET law result 2018 - Tie-breaking method

If two or more test takers obtain equal marks in MH CET law, then one of the following methods will be applied in the following order to break the tie -

MH CET 3-years LLB

  • Method 1 – Candidate with the highest mark in qualifying exam (Bachelor’s or equivalent) will be given preference
  • Method 2 – Preference will be given to test takers with higher marks in HSC or equivalent examination
  • Method 3 – Highest marks in SSC or equivalent exam will be given preference

MH CET 5-years LLB

  • Method 1 – Highest marks in qualifying exam(HSC or equivalent exam) will be given preference
  • Method 2 – Marks in First Language at HSC or equivalent exam will be compared
  • Method 3 – Highest aggregate marks in at SSC or equivalent exam will be given preference
  • Method 4 – Marks obtained in English at SSC or equivalent exam will be given preference

What is MH CET law cut off 2018:

MH CET law cutoff marks are the minimum scores that test takers must obtain to get shortlisted for the CAP rounds. The various participating law schools will prepare these cutoff scores after the announcement of MH CET law result on the basis of various factors, such as – difficulty level of the test, total number of seats and total number of students. These cutoff scores will vary with the category and institute.

About MH CET law 2018

MH CET law is an online law entrance test held by DHE Maharashtra for admission to the law schools of the state. The test will include 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking in MH CET law 2018. The MH CET law result will be available online and based on candidate’s rank, they will be shortlisted for the CAP rounds. There will be three CAP rounds including seat allotment process and candidates are required to register online for it.
