The application form of AIIMS MBBS 2018 has been released on February 5. The last date for AIIMS MBBS online registrations 2018 has been extended till March 12, 2018. Only aspirants whose AIIMS MBBS 2018 application form has not been completed can submit it. Candidates whose application form will be accepted by authority can download AIIMS MBBS admit card 2018 from May 10. AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam is a computer-based test which consists of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and Aptitude & Logical Thinking. Aspirants must secure the minimum percentile to qualify AIIMS MBBS 2018. The normalisation procedure will be calculated to prepare the merit list of AIIMS MBBS 2018. On the basis of rank list, aspirants will be called for AIIMS MBBS counselling process. Through AIIMS MBBS, 807 seats will be filled for admission to MBBS courses offered by 9 AIIMS institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. AIIMS MBBS 2018 Application Form

The application form of AIIMS MBBS 2018 is available now from February 5 onwards. AIIMS MBBS application procedure entails six stages which are registration, payment of application fee, choosing of exam city, entering academic qualification and address details, uploading of images and taking printout of application form. AIIMS MBBS 2018 Application Registration Process Details

  • Registration: Candidates must begin filling AIIMS MBBS application form by clicking on the link given on this page (the link will be activated as soon as the form is released by the conducting authority). They must fill all details asked for, including personal and contact details and mention at least 7 preferred AIIMS institutes. After this, they must click on the 'Register' button. The candidate id and password will be sent to their registrered email id and mobile. The information page appears on screen showing all 6 steps. Students can either click on 'Edit' to make corrections or 'Proceed to Step 2'.
  • Payment of application fee: Aspirants must pay AIIMS MBBS 2018 application fee as directed. It is Rs 1000 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 800 for SC/ST candidates. The application fee must be paid in online mode through credit card or debit card or net banking. Orthopedic Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
  • Choosing exam city: In this step, candidates must choose their preferred choice of AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam centre for appearing in the exam. They must provide at least 3 preferences as far as exam cities are concerned that suit their convenience most. Out of these preferences, the conducting authority will allot one centre to the candidate. Centres will be allotted on first come first serve basis.
  • Filling of application form: Aspirants must furnish all the details related to their academic qualification and contact address. These details include the qualifying exam, status, name of board, class 12 roll number, name of state, marks obtained in class 10, percentage/CGPA, permanent address, country, state, city, pin code etc.
  • Uploading of images: Aspirants must upload their recent passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression as per specifications. Images once uploaded cannot be changed, so candidates must be careful. The size for photograph, signature and thumb impression must be between 50 to 100 KB and in .jpg format.
  • Printout of filled in application form: After all of the above steps have been completed, candidates must click on the 'final submit' button. They will receive an acknowledgement mail from AIIMS. A printout of AIIMS MBBS 2018 application form must be taken by students and preserved carefully. It is advised that candidates verify all the details carefully before submitting and taking printout including personal information, choice of test cities, qualification and address details.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 Eligibility Criteria

As mentioned above, aspirants must have qualified class 12 with minimum qualifying marks in respective subjects. Check the important AIIMS MBBS 2018 eligibility criteria mentioned below.

  • Age: Aspirants should have attained the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2018.
  • Academic qualification: Applicants should have passed class 12 from senior school certificate examination (CBSE) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board/university of any state with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject.
  • Minimum marks: Candidates must have passed class 12 with minimum aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. General and OBC aspirants should have obtained 60% whereas, SC/ST/OPH students have to secure 50% to appear in AIIMS MBBS 2018.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 Exam Centres

AIIMS MBBS exam centres are the venue for examination in around 155 cities where online test will be held. While filling the application form, candidates have to choose a city where they would like to take AIIMS MBBS 2018. The allocation of AIIMS MBBS exam centres 2018 will be done on first come first serve basis. AIIMS MBBS exam centres will be allotted on the basis of availability of seats in selected city.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be available for download from May 10. Only those applicants whose application form will be accepted can download AIIMS MBBS admit card. To download the admit card, aspirants need to enter their application ID and password. Students must verify the details such as name, roll number, address, photograph, signature, exam centre details etc. mentioned in the admit card. AIIMS MBBS 2018 Exam Pattern

AIIMS MBBS an online examination contains 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude. The maximum time allotted to complete the test is three hours thirty minutes. Each question contains one mark and one-third mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The syllabus of AIIMS MBBS 2018 consists of questions based on class 11 and 12. The exam will include the questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. AIIMS MBBS 2018 Cutoff

AIIMS MBBS cutoff 2018 is the minimum scores which must be secured by candidates to qualify the entrance test. As per the previous year information brochure, general category candidates have to secure 50% in AIIMS MBBS 2018, while, candidates belonging to SC and ST categories must obtain 40%. As the exam will be conducted in two shifts, the cutoff will be determined on the basis of percentiles. The normalisation procedure will be followed to calculate the AIIMS MBBS result. AIIMS MBBS 2018 Merit List

AIIMS, New Delhi will publish the merit list of AIIMS MBBS 2018 along with the result on June 18. It will be prepared by the examination authority as per the candidates scores in the entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS merit list will include All India Rank, roll number, category, subject-wise percentile and overall percentile. As per the rank in AIIMS MBBS 2018, eligible candidates will be called for counselling process.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 Counselling

AIIMS, New Delhi will start offline AIIMS MBBS counselling 2018 from July 3. Candidates who qualify entrance test will be called for AIIMS MBBS counselling. The round 1 of counselling will begin from July 3 to 6. Candidates who will be listed in rank-wise and roll-number wise result have to download AIIMS MBBS 2018 counselling call letter. Eligible applicants have to report at prescribed counselling venue as per the specified schedule. Candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and availability of seats. If the seats are left vacant after round 1, the second round of counselling will also be held in July. AIIMS MBBS counselling is the basis for admission to MBBS seats offered by AIIMS, New Delhi and other eight AIIMS institutes.
