The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducted AIIMS PG for January session on November 12, 2017. AIIMS PG is a computer-based test (CBT) held for admission to 386 MD/MS and MDS seats offered by six AIIMS institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Raipur and Rishikesh. The exam was held in 71 AIIMS PG exam centres from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for MD/MS courses and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm for MDS course. The result of AIIMS PG 2018 will be announced on November 18, 2017, in the form of merit list. AIIMS PG 2018 for MD/MS courses contains 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while 90 for MDS from Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Para-Clinical subjects. Every correct answer carries 1 mark and one-third will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
AIIMS PG result 2018 will be available in the form of a merit list. Aspirants can download rank and roll number-wise list. The result would display the name of the candidates qualified in the entrance test, roll number and All India Rank. Aspirants can also download their individual scorecard entering roll number and date of birth. Only candidates securing prescribed AIIMS PG cutoff scores will qualify the entrance test. The qualifying cutoff percentile for all respective categories is 50.
All the eligible candidates included in the merit list will be called for AIIMS PG counselling 2018. The counselling will be organised offline in three rounds including open selection. The first round of AIIMS PG counselling will held on December 7, 2017. Aspirants must report to the counselling venue along with the relevant documents for verification process. Admission will be granted as per the rank, preferences of courses as well as colleges and availability of seats.
