AIIMS PG Result 2018 for January session announced on November 18, 2017

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has announced the result of AIIMS PG 2018 on November 18, 2017. AIIMS PG result has been released in the form of merit list. The authority has published two separate AIIMS PG result – rank and roll number-wise list. AIIMS PG result will display name of candidates qualified in the entrance test, roll number and All India Rank (AIR). Moreover, aspirants can also download their scorecard using roll number and date of birth, which includes candidate’s name, total percentile secured in AIIMS PG, AIR etc. AIIMS PG 2018 result will be basis for admission to 386 MD/MS and MDS seats offered in six AIIMS institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhuaneswar, Jodhpur, Raipur and Rishikesh.

Only candidates who secured the minimum qualifying percentile have passed the online entrance examination. AIIMS PG cutoff percentile to qualify the test is 50 irrespective of categories. Based on the cutoff, the authority has calculated the percentile scores to determine AIIMS PG result. Aspirants included in AIIMS PG result must report for counselling session along with the relevant documents.

AIIMS PG counselling will be conducted in three rounds including open selection. The first round of AIIMS PG counselling will begin from December 7, 2017. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of All India Rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and seats available. To participate in AIIMS PG counselling, aspirants must report at the specified venue as per their rank along with relevant documents. In each category, the number of candidates called for counselling will be 8 times the number of seats available. In case, an aspirant is absent for counselling, the seat will be allotted to next candidate in the list.
