What’s New in AIIMS MBBS?

  • Number of Seats has been increased from 700 to 707. The increased number of seats is in AIIMS Delhi.
  • The increased number of seats are for Foreign candidates. This will be the for the first time when AIIMS Delhi will granting admission to Foreign national on the basis of MBBS entrance exam score.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Result

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Counselling

The counselling session of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will start from July 3, 2017. On the basis of the merit list, the candidates will be called for the counselling. In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC & ST, the total no. of the candidate to be called for counselling will be 4 times the no. of seats available in each category. Those called for the counselling have to report at the centre with all the necessary documents. Firstly the counselling for general candidates will be held and after that for the reservation category candidates.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Syllabus

As mentioned in the table, the syllabus for AIIMS MBBS 2017 Medical Entrance Examination has been notified by the Medical council of India. Most of the question asked in the exam were from the 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Biology NCERT books of CBSE. The candidates were advised to go study these books thoroughly.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Exam Day Guidelines

On the day of the AIIMS MBBS 2017 examination, the candidates had to follow the given guidelines

  • The candidates had to go through the security check and biometrics verification this is why they were advised to report at the designated exam centre one hour before the time mentioned in the admit card.
  • Candidates were not allowed to carry any textual or digital gadgets except admit card to the examination hall
  • Along with the AIIMS MBBS 2017 admit card, the candidates had to carry an id proof for validation of the identity. The pen/pencil for the rough work will be provided at the centre.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Admit Card

The AIIMS MBBS Admit Card has been made available on May 09, 2017, in online mode. Only those candidates will be able to download the Hall Ticket of AIIMS MBBS 2017 whose application form will be submitted in prescribed format, before February 23, 2017. In order to download the admit card, the candidates will need to provide their Application ID and Password. The candidates are advised to verify details like name, exam roll number, address, signature, photograph allotted exam centre. The admit card will be needed at the different stages of admission and candidates should keep it carefully.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Application Form

The application procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2017 is over. AIIMS has reopened AIIMS MBBS 2017 application correction window once again. Now the candidates will be able to make changes in the application form from April 19 to 21, 2017. The candidates can go through the AIIMS MBBS Application procedure below.

Registration: Candidates must register first by clicking on the link provided in the article. For registration, candidates will be required to submit basic personal details such as:

  • Name
  • Parent’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender

  • ID proof Number and details
  • Language (English or Hindi)
  • 07 preferences of AIIMS branches as per the choice of the candidates, contact details and accept the declaration.
  • The candidates will then have to click on register button.

Generation of Application ID: The system will generate the application ID on the screen. The application ID, along with the password will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.

Login: By using the ID and password, candidates will be able to login into the application form of AIIMS MBBS 2017. The candidates are advised to check the details filled by them during registration. If satisfied, click on ‘Proceed to Step 2’ button.

Payment of AIIMS 2017 Application Fee: In step 2, candidates will be required to pay application fee of Rs. 1000/- for general and OBC category and Rs. 800/- for SC and ST category. The fee will be paid in online mode through credit/debit card or net banking. The candidates can check the city choice status. Take a print out of the receipt of the online payment.

Application Form Filling: Moving to next step, the candidates will have to select the city for entrance examination. Selecting the city will display the total number of seats available in the city. Candidates will also be required to enter their education qualification and address details in the form.

Uploading of Images: Upload the image after filling the details as per the specifications.

Confirmation Page: Finally, take a print out of the application form after submitting it for the future references.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria

For Indian National:

Nationality – The candidate should be Indian, an overseas citizen of the India is also eligible to appear for the AIIMS MBBS. However a foreign candidate is not eligible to participate in the admission procedure.

Age – By December 31, 2017, the candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, the candidates who are born after January 2, 2000, are not eligible to appear for the exam.

Educational Qualification of AIIMS MBBS 2017 – The candidate must have completed 10+2 with following subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Qualifying Marks – The General and OBC category candidates must have secured 60% and SC/ST and OPH category candidates will need to score 50% in the qualifying examination. The candidates who have appeared in 10+2 can also apply for the exam.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals:

Apart from AIIMS Delhi, foreign nationals will not be allowed to received admission in any other AIIMS. Foreign national need not submit the application form, as their admission to MBBS courses will be subjected to the announcement of Government of India.
