The registration process for Karnataka MBBS admission is over. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released provisional meit list of Karnataka MBBS 2017 on July 2. It enlists the name of the candidates who applied in NEET 2017 under the Karnataka state. The counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2017 has begun from July 5. Karnataka MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for Karnataka MBBS admission 2017, must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by state, which are as follows:

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India. No admission will be granted to candidates if they are not a citizen of India.

Domicile Status: It is mandatory for the candidates to be a domicile of Karnataka.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2017. (The documents must be provided at the time of admission procedure)

Entrance Examination: All the candidates applying for Karnataka MBBS admission 2017 must have appeared and qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – NEET 2017.

Education Qualification: A candidate who have passed/ is appearing in qualifying examination i.e. class 12/2nd PUC or equivalent from any recognised Higher Secondary Education Board of Karnataka, with English as one of the main languages and secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST, Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B).


Karnataka MBBS 2017 Application Form

The application form of Karnataka MBBS 2017 has been made available from June 03. Candidates have to apply online for admission to Karnataka MBBS admission. First of all, candidates have to register themselves using the link provided in the article. An application ID and password will be send to candidates. Using the same, user have to enter their personal, academic, NEET details and also have to upload their photograph and signature as per the required specifications. An application fee of Rs. 650 for general and OBC candidates (Rs 500 for SC/ST category-I) has to be filled through bank challan in any branch of specified banks and e-post office. Karnataka MBBS 2017 Merit List

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2017. It reflects NEET Roll number, name of the candidate, NEET all India rank. The Karnataka MBBS list contains the name of the NEET qualifiers who applied under the Karnataka state. The document verification of the listed candidates will be done and thereafter combined merit list will be released. The admission into MBBS and BDS courses of medical and dental colleges will be offered on the basis of combined merit list of Karnataka. As per the merit rank, candidates will be permitted to appear for counselling rounds for admission in medical and dental colleges of Karnataka.


Karnataka MBBS 2017 Counselling

The counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2017 has commenced from July 5. It will be conducted in online mode by admission committee of Karnataka Examination Authority. The candidates have to register online for Karnataka MBBS counselling 2017 from July 05 to 09. After the registration process, the candidates must report at document verification centre from July 11 to 19, 2017. Only the eligible candidates can choose their options for colleges and courses from July 19 to 22. The conducting authority will conduct a mock counselling round for the convenience of candidates on July 23, 2017. If candidates are not satisfied with the choices, they can modify the colleges and courses from July 23 and 24. The final result of seat allotment will be published on July 25, 2017. The candidates must report at the allotted colleges for completion of admission process till August 5, 2017.
