It is a one time opportunity for the NEET 2017 Applicants to rectify the mistakes made in the application form. NEET Application Form Correction 2017 will close on March 12, 2017 (11:59 P.M). The candidates will be able to make the changes in the following details of the NEET application form, identification authority, date of birth, gender, state code of eligibility, category, disability status, medium of the question paper and examination centre. Other then these details, no other information can be modified. After rectifying the details, the candidates are advised to print the correction slip and retain it with themselves for further record and reference. Procedure to Correct the information in NEET 2017 Application Form

The application window of NEET 2017 is functional again, in order to make the required changes, candidates need to click on ‘apply online’ and follow the rest of the steps provided below.

  • Click on the link given here.
  • The registration portal of NEET 2017 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Enter the registration number and password
  • Click on the submit column
  • Make the required changes as needed

CandidatesIdentity Identification

All the candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhaar Card i.e. Passport number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number, Aadhaar Enrolment Number and Registration number issued by Facilitation Centre will be able to add their Aadhaar Number or the Aadhaar Enrolment Number in the Online Application Form

The candidates who have already filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card and the candidates with nationality as Foreign, OCI. PIO and NRI.

Date Of Birth (DoB)

The candidates who have filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. These candidates cannot change their date of birth as their details have been validated by Aadhaar.

Gender

The candidates who have filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. These candidates cannot change their date of birth as their details have been validated by Aadhaar

State Code of Eligibility

A) The candidates belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir may also change the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.

B) The candidates belonging to the states of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir will be able to change their state code of eligibility (to a state other than these 03 states) only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number as the exemption from Aadhaar is available only to the candidates of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir.

C)The candidates may note that the rules which are state specific like Permissible Identity Types, Self Declaration, Medium of Question Paper and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the State of Eligibility and the candidate will have to fill up information in the effected fields afresh very carefully. The candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules

Alt candidates can make correction. However wherever change in category involves higher fee, the candidates will pay the difference of the fee also. Payment of fee will be an online process and the change will take effect only if the difference of fee is paid within the stipulated time by permissible modes

Medium

All candidates can make correction. However, the candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change the medium of Question Paper as Bengali and will also be able to Choose Agartala as their Centre

The candidates may note that the rules which are medium specific like Sates of Eligibility and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the medium of Question Paper and the candidate will have to fill up information in the effected fields afresh very carefully. Examination Centre

The candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change their Centre of Examination to Agartala provided they have chosen Bengali as medium of Question Paper in pursuance of this opportunity.

All other candidates except those belonging to the state of Tripura.

How to retrieve NEET 2017 Application Form Password

The applicants will need the password and registration Id to make the required changes in the application form of NEET 2017. In case any candidate has forgotten the password of NEET 2017 Registration. Following are the methods that can be adopted to retrieve the password

Via OTP: Through this method, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates using which they will be able to retrieve the password. The password can be changed also through this method. The OTP will be valid for one login session on a computer system or other digital device.

Through Security Question: The candidates need to enter the NEET 2017 registration number, date of birth, security question and security answer which they have filled during the registration process. Enter security pin and click on ‘submit’ column.

Forget mobile Number and Email-ID: In this option, applicants will have to provide the NEET 2017 registration number, name, date of birth, father and mother’s name in relevant fields along with security pin.
