NEET 2017 Application Form – Application form of NEET 2017 is available for the candidates who are 25 years and above. - The application form of NEET 2017 started on January 31, 2017, and the last date to register for NEET 2017 was March 1, 2017
- From the session 2017, Aadhaar card was made mandatory for all the applicants.

A) The candidates belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir may also change the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.
B) The candidates belonging to the states of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir will be able to change their state code of eligibility (to a state other than these 03 states) only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number as the exemption from Aadhaar is available only to the candidates of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir.
C)The candidates may note that the rules which are state specific like Permissible Identity Types, Self Declaration, Medium of Question Paper and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the State of Eligibility and the candidate will have to fill up information in the effected fields afresh very carefully. The candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules

Important Notice For NEET 2017 Applicants – Since the Aadhar Card has been made mandatory for all the applicants, there are few category candidates who can submit specified documents in place of Aadhar Card to apply. Notification regarding Self Declaration Form
CBSE released the notification for the applicants of Jammu Kashmir, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. There are some candidates from Jammu Kashmir, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh who despite being domicile of the state have submitted the declaration form at the time of registering for NEET 2017. It is to be noted that such candidates will not be considered for the 15% All India Quota. There is no All India Quota for the candidates of Jammu Kashmir, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. However, those candidates who are living in any of the states but not domiciled their will be eligible for the 15% All India Quota. Prerequisites to apply for NEET 2017
Before filling the NEET 2017 Application Form, it is required to keep ready following things
- Web browser Required – The candidates must use the latest version of any of given internet browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer
- The candidate should have a valid email Id and mobile number before applying.
- Aadhar Card – As the Aadhar Card has been made mandatory for the applicants, all the candidates must keep their Aadhar Card number ready with them before the applying.
- Photograph – A clear scanned recent coloured passport size photograph in a .jpg or .jpeg format. The size of the file should be between 10 to 100 KB and dimensions 4”x6”. The photograph should have a white background and it must have been clicked on or after January 1, 2017.
- Signature –It should be done in running hand writing on a white paper using a black or blue ball pen. File size should be between 3KB to 20KB and the required format is .JPG.
- Details/Documents ready to make Online Payment – If the candidate is making online payment, they should keep ready the details of UDI App/Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking

NEET 2017 Instruction Page
In the instruction page, the details regarding the NEET 2017 steps to fill the application form, fee and important information related to NEET 2017 Registration procedure is provided. The candidates need to click on ‘Proceed to apply online NEET UG 2017’ to register and submit the online application form.
NEET 2017 – New Registration
Before starting to fill the NEET 2017 Application Form, the candidates need to get themselves register. Following are the details to be provided at the time of registering.

- State of Eligibility (for 15% All India Quota, Select Identification Type
- Enter Identification Number

After entering all the above details, candidate need to click on ‘Next’
A Preview page of the details filled by the candidate will appear on the screen and click on ‘next’. The Layout of the page is provided below.
In the next step, the candidate will need to create their password, answer the security question and register the OTP. Enter the following details, Password, Retype Password, Security Question, Answer, Enter OTP and finally click on ‘Submit’.
Note: The candidate needs to enter the OTP number that has been sent to their registered mobile number.
The first step of NEET UG 2017 Registration will be completed with this, the provisional registration will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to note down the registration number. Also, the option to proceed with the further steps of the registration and complete it later will be displayed. If the candidate chose to continue with the application procedure they need to click on ‘Continue’.
Step 1 – Filling the Application Form
After getting registered and clicking on ‘Continue’, the NEET 2017 Application Form will appear on the screen. There are 3 three sections of the application form namely personal details, selecting the language (NEET 2017 Question paper will be available in 10 languages including Hindi English and other 8 regional languages), Selecting the exam centre (CBSE reserves the right to allot any centre to the candidate as per its discretion. This can not be edited further, once submitted)
Note: The candidates must note that the section of personal details cannot be edited as it will be same as provided at the time of registering. After providing the required details, the candidate can save the details in the draft form. Click on ‘Next’ to proceed further.
In the next section, the candidates need to enter the following details Academic Details of 10 and 12 standard, Name of School Education Board), name of the school board, address of the school, percentage of marks obtained. In the section of 12th standard details, these additional details will be needed Place of Study, State where Class XII School completed, District where Class XII School, Qualifying Examination Code, Year of Passing and roll number. Also enter the marks secured in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 out of total marks. Click on ‘Next’ to proceed.
In this section, the candidates need to provide the residential address, occupation of the parents, whether the candidate intend to wear the dress code prescribed by NEET UGC, enter the security pin and click on ‘submit and preview’
Review page of NEET 2017 Application Form will appear on the screen, the candidates are advised to review the following information carefully. If the candidate want to change any of the information entered, press ‘Back ‘button or press ‘Final Submit’ button for final submission. Once the fee is paid, particulars cannot be edited. Click on final submit after reviewing the details.
Step 2 – Uploading the Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature
The next step is to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature. Click on ‘upload recent photograph and signature.
The size of the scanned images should be as follows, photograph – 10 to 100 KB and signature 3 to 20 KB. Select the file from appropriate places and click on ‘Next’
Application Number along with uploaded photo and signature will be displayed on the screen, after this the candidate will need to enter the security pin and click on ‘upload’ button.
Step 3 – Making the Payment
The next step is to make the payment. There are following modes of payment, UDI app, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking. The candidates can select the mode as per their convenient and pay the fee. The application fee for the General/OBC is Rs. 1400 for SC/ST/PH category its Rs. 750. The fee can be paid in the online mode only. Before the final payment, the system will ask whether the candidate wishes to check the registration number, amount, name.

Step 4 – Generating the confirmation Page
The confirmation page will be generated after providing all the details, the candidates are advised to download the confirmation page. It contains the important details of the candidate.
How to change or retrieve NEET application form 2017 password?
If applicants forget or willing to change the password, following measures can be taken:
- OTP: One-time password will be sent to registered candidates phone number. It can be used to retrieve the password.
- Forget mobile number and email id: Candidates will need to enter the NEET registration number, date of birth and security pin to retrieve the password.
- Security reason: The applicants can also retrieve their password using date of birth, security question and registration number which they filled during the filling the online NEET 2017 Application Form.
