NEET 2017 Exam Analysis by Resonance

NEET 2017 comprises of total number of 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions in Biology divided equally between Botany and Zoology. Questions were asked from class XI and XII syllabus. The paper was of 720 marks, for every correct response 4 to be awarded for correct answer whereas each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark.

In Physics section, substantial weightage was given to following topics, Rigid Body Dynamics, Modern Physics, Wave optics, KTG & Thermodynamics. Due weightage was given to following topics in Chemistry subject, Inorganic chemistry – Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds and from Organic Chemistry – General Organic Chemistry- II. Whereas, Biology likely had questions from Kingdom Monera, Ecology, Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Plant Kingdom etc.
