However, it must be noted here that after the completion of the counselling procedure, the state authority releases another cutoff which reflects the least marks based on which the candidate is admitted to the medical institute. Bihar MBBS 2016 Cutoff

Below is the table elaborating the minimum qualifying marks for the Bihar MBBS 2016

The candidates must note here that scoring the above percentile will not ensure the admission into one of the medical colleges of Bihar. The procedure of the admission into the colleges has also changed due to the introduction of National Eligibility Entrance Test. The two rounds of the BCECE Counselling have been held and accordingly the cutoff for these two rounds has been released separately. Below is the cutoff of both the rounds

After the successful completion of the first round of the counselling, the second round is organised for the seats remaining vacant. The seat allocation will be done in the order of the merit only.

After the above two rounds of the counselling, the open round was held. In this round, the remaining seats were allocated to the candidates in order of their merit list. The cutoff of the open round has not been released by the state board. However, it will be updated here if it will be released.

Procedure to Estimate the Final Cutoff

Below are the steps that have been followed in order to figure the final cutoff

  • Firstly, the NEET result was declared. It contained the name of all the qualified candidates.
  • The Central Board of Education (CBSE) handed over the result to the state authority.
  • The state body prepared their merit list based on the reservation, rules, and their own norms.
  • The mark on which the last admission has been made in the respective category was the cutoff for that state.
