Question: What is the decision made by CBSE regarding Aadhar Card pertaining to NEET?
Answer – Central Baord of Secondary Education has released notification stating that Aadhar Card is mandatory for all the Indian Nationals. However exemptions has been kept for certain categories considering the fact that they might not possess an Aadhar Card.
Question: I have enrolled for Aadhar but did not receive my Aadhar Card yet? How can I apply?
Answer – You can apply using the 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID (including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling online application form for NEET (UG)-2017.
Question: My Aadhar authentication is being Failed, What can be the reasons?
Answer – Make sure you are entering the exact Aadhar card number. The other reason could be non updation of biometrics. Submit a correction request at Aadhaar centre for biometric updation and apply for NEET-UG by entering 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID/UR No. printed on the slip issued by Aadhaar centre after submitting updation request.

Answer: Yes, you can apply by providing the Passport number. Apart from the Indian Nationals of all states, there are some categories that has been given exemptions. Below are the options for different category candidates.

Answer – No, Aadhaar enrolment facility is not available at the facilitation centres, the applicants will need to request for Aadhaar enrolment. The facilitation centre will issue the registration number to such applicants. This registration number should be entered by the applicants at the time of filling online NEET 2017 Application Form. There are 2.4 laks facilitation centre set up across the country.
