The counselling of DNB CET SS 2017 will commence from March 15, 2017. It will be organised by the National Board of Examination. The candidates whose names are listed in the merit list shall have to appear at the allocated hospital/medical institute in the order of their merit position. The candidates will then exercise their options as per the rank secured and accordingly seat allocation will be done.
This must be noted that the candidates will need to exercise the options in the online mode only. The schedule given here is only for the confirmation of the seat.
The candidates without original documents will not be allowed to participate in Centralized Counselling by NBE.

To apply for the DNB CET SS, the candidates need to fulfil below set of conditions
Candidates with DNB/MS qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology shall appear in the NBE FET (for the same academic session as DNBCET-SS) for Obstetrics and Gynaecology discipline. Their FET question paper shall have 100 questions in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and 30 questions in Medical Genetics. The marks obtained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology component (i.e. out of 100) shall be scaled to 180 and a common merit list shall be prepared (based on performance in 180+30 = 210 questions).
The candidates need to get themselves registered online. After the successful registration, only the candidates will be able to take the exam. The candidates can use the link given here to apply for the DNB CET SS 2017. It is mandatory for the candidates to fill all the fields. The candidates should note that after successful registration they will be sent acknowledgement on the registered email Id. The candidates will be able to print the acknowledgement letter.

Step 1: Create a profile The candidates need to create a profile first. To do so, follow the steps given below.
Create a login After creating the profile, follow the below steps in order to create a login. Username – The username has to be a combination of alphanumeric characters (It contains the letters and characters). The maximum word limit is 50 characters. Password - Password must be between 7-20 characters long and it should contain one alpha and one numeric character Secret Reminder Question The secret reminder question helps the candidate to revive the password in case, forgotten. The candidate must note that once the profile is created no changes can be made to the name or username. The username and password will be used to login into the profile. Step 2: Apply for DNB CET SS After the successful creation of the profile, the candidate will be taken to the exam selection screen. To register for CET SS, select “Diplomate of National Board, Centralized Entrance Test – Super Speciality (CET –SS)” Exam Information After selecting the exam, the screen will display the information related to the important dates, fee, and program Personal Information Now on this window, the candidates need to provide personal information related to them. Also, they need to select the super speciality course they are opting for. The candidate will have to choose their residential domicile state, which one considers their permanent state. Enter the MCI/SMC Registration number along with the name of the Medical Council. Now, Click on save and continue. Education Background
The candidates need to provide their educational information in this section. Enter the marks secured in the MBBS program along with the medical institute from where the course has been completed. Also, the candidates need to provide information related to the post graduate course.
Photo ID and MCI/SMC Certificate Upload All the candidates have to upload their image of their photo Id that they will carry to the test centre on the day of the exam. Click on the browse button to upload the documents Declaration by the Candidate In this section, the candidates need to select the “I Agree”. By doing so, the candidate confirms that all the information provided is correct and he/she is eligible for the examination. Errors
If the candidate selects the “Save and Continue” and have left any of the mandatory fields empty. A message will appear on the screen reflecting “error”. The field left unattended will be highlighted in the red colour and the candidates are supposed to fill the required information
3. Schedule the Exam
Now, in this step, the candidate need to select the exam centre. As shown below the exam will be conducted in 41 cities of the India, any of them can be selected by the candidate as per their convenience. Availability of the exam centre will be on first cum first serve basis. The DNB CET SS 2017 is scheduled on Nov 29, 2016. There is only one session of the test at 10:00 A.M.
Select Test Site
After selecting the exam centre, the available exam sites in that exam centre will be shown. The exact address and location can be viewed by the candidate by clicking on the link “Direction”
Select Date and Time
In order to schedule the test, click on “Schedule Appointment” button. The candidate can select the date and time of the test now.
4. Make Online Payment
The candidates will have to pay Rs.4500 via Credit/Debit or online mode. Select payment option from the tabs indicated on the make payment screen and fill all the information. After filling all the details, click on “make payment” button. After successful authorisation of payment, the profile will be registered and the candidates will receive admit card within 24 hours on the registered mail id.
If the candidate has furnished all the details correctly, they will be directed to the welcome page. All the details need to be read by the candidates to make sure everything is correct. If there is anything that requires change, click on “Edit Profile” or “Edit Application” and make the required changes
After the successful registration, only the candidates will be able to take the exam. The candidates will be sent acknowledgement letter on the registered email Id after registration. The candidates will be able to print the acknowledgement letter.

After the successful registration, the candidates will be sent the admit card on their registered mail id. The candidates need to take a print out of the admit card and paste the latest passport size photograph on it. Following are points to be taken care of in regard to the photograph
It must be noted by the candidates that it is mandatory to bring the admit card at the time of taking the examination. In case, the candidate does not bring the hall ticket they will not be able to take the exam.
