Kerala MBBS Admission 2017: The admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the medical and dental colleges of Kerala will be offered through NEET 2017 scores. The online registration for Kerala MBBS admission 2017 has been started from June 03. Candidates who wish to pursue MBBS & BDS courses from medical and dental colleges of Kerala must submit the filled in application form of Kerala MBBS 2017 before due date. The procedure of Kerala MBBS admission 2017 is organised by Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. The admission of Kerala MBBS is being organised for granting admission to MBBS & BDS courses offered by medical and dental colleges located in Kerala. As per the data of Medical Council of India (MCI), around 4000 MBBS and thousand BDS seats are to be offered in government and private medical and dental colleges of Kerala. Candidates must note that, from all the government MBBS and BDS colleges of Kerala, 15% seats are reserved for All India Quota seats which will be allotted through NEET scores. The online counselling will be conducted by Medical Council Committee (MCC), for granting admission to 15% All India Quota seats and Deemed University. Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India. Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can also apply for Kerala MBBS admission 2017.
Domicile: Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses will be categorised by Keralite, Non-Keralite category I (NK-I).

The conditions which must be fulfilled by Non-Keralite candidates are as follows:
Entrance Examination: As per the regulations of Supreme Court of India, for admission to MBBS and BDS courses, candidates have to appear in NEET 2017 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). No admission will be granted if candidates will not qualify in national level entrance exam.
Academic Qualification: A candidate must have passed qualifying examination of Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or equivalent examination, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. In case, candidates have not studied Biology, then, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject of academic eligibility.
The application form of Kerala MBBS 2017 has been available from June 03. The candidates must register online for Kerala MBBS admission 2017. In order to begin with online registrations of Kerala MBBS 2017, candidates have to enter their personal details such as: name, date of birth, valid mobile number & email ID and password. After confirming the registration process, candidates have to upload passport size photograph, signature and left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned. Thereafter, candidates have to enter their choice of courses, personal, address, academic, income, reservation details in Kerala MBBS application form. After filling the online application form, candidates will then have to pay the requisite application fee through online and offline mode.

The merit list of Kerala MBBS 2017 will be published by admission committee of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. As per the scores secured by candidates in NEET 2017, the conducting body will prepare Kerala MBBS merit list 2017. Only the candidates who will qualify in NEET 2017 will be enlisted in Kerala MBBS merit list. The merit list will have state rank, NEET scores, name of candidates, NEET roll number etc. On the basis of merit list, candidates will be permitted to attend Kerala MBBS counselling session for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats in medical and dental courses in Kerala.
The counselling of Kerala MBBS 2017 will start from 2nd week of July 2017. It will be held in online mode, in which candidates have to choose the preferences of courses available to participate in counselling. As per the official, Kerala MBBS counselling will be held in two rounds only and no candidate will be allowed to withdraw their allotted seats after second round of counselling. The seats will be allotted to candidates as per the state merit rank and choices of courses selected by the candidates. Kerala MBBS 2017 counselling will be the basis for admission to MBBS and BDS seats offered by the government as well as private medical and dental colleges of the state.
