AIIMS MBBS 2018 dates announcedThe All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has announced the dates for AIIMS MBBS 2018. The online entrance examination will be held on May 28, 2018, while, the result will be announced on June 12. AIIMS MBBS is conducted for admission to 707 MBBS seats offered by seven AIIMS institutes located at Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar besides New Delhi.


AIIMS MBBS is a computer-based test which includes 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The total duration of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be three hours thirty minutes. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Last year, the exam was held in 171 cities across India. Around 1,60,000 candidates appeared for the entrance examination.

The application form for AIIMS MBBS 2018 is expected to be out by February. The registration window, generally, remains open for a month with an additional window for error rectification. Check the important dates of AIIMS MBBS 2018 below in the table.

As in previous years, the result of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be released in PDF format in the form of a merit list including a rank-wise and roll number-wise list. AIIMS MBBS result 2018 will display the candidate’s roll number, overall rank, category, OPH(Orthopedically Physically Handicapped), subject-wise percentile and overall percentile.

AIIMS MBBS 2018 application form is expected to be available in February. The application form process would include AIIMS MBBS online registration, payment of application fee, selection of exam centre, filling of academic details, uploading of images, print out of application form and confirmation of page.

Post the announcement of AIIMS MBBS 2018 result, shortlisted candidates would be called for the offline counselling process, usually, held in two rounds. Candidates are granted admission in undergraduate medical courses as per the merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and availability of seats.
