National level medical entrance exam NEET 2017 has landed into controversy after sanctity of examination was breached by some candidates. In continuation with NEET 2017 paper leak controversy, a few national dailies reported that some candidates had access to NEET 2017 question paper before the beginning of exam. As reported by daily newspapers, admit card of some candidates had coded answers of all questions equals to 720 marks.
Candidates had marked the allegedly NEET 2017 leak questions in coded form which cannot be traced by exam invigilator and can be deciphered by them only. This allegation of NEET 2017 paper leak is yet to be verified by police and examination officials. Candidates who had access to questions prior to exam will be at advantage to secure good score and All India rank.
This new allegation has marred the sanctity of NEET 2017 and created furore among nearly 12 lakh MBBS and BDS aspirants who took the exam at 1921 exam centres in 103 cities of India.
Despite of strict exam measures for NEET 2017, few candidates managed to cheat in the exam and breach all the security measures. In the published news the snippets audio conversations between candidates and gangs who were involved in NEET 2017 paper leak has been also highlighted.

May 7: NEET 2017 Question paper leaked in Bihar- Two person arrested
Soon after the conduct of NEET 2017 exam on May 7, there were unconfirmed reports of question paper leaks in Bihar. Bihar police is examining the allegations of paper leaks. As per the latest information available, the Patna police have arrested some individuals in this case.

May 8: NEET 2017 Question Paper Leak: Attempts Foiled in 3 States; 9 Arrested
There were allegations of NEET paper leak in Bihar, Rajasthan and Goa. As per the media reports, attempts were being made to leak the NEET question paper 2017. While 5 people have been arrested in Bihar, the Rajasthan Police has arrested 4 people for trying to leak NEET paper in the state. Two of the persons arrested in Bihar are medical students.

On the basis of NEET result, which will be announced on June 8, for admissions for around 90,000 seats (65,000 MBBS & 25,000 BDS) in all Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges & Deemed Universities in the entire country. After the exam was over, several coaching institutes released NEET 2017 Answer Key for all codes – A/P/W, B/Q/X, C/R/Y and D/S/Z. The candidates can check the answer key to calculate their expected NEET score. The official answer key is yet to be released. On the basis of the exam score, NEET cutoff will be released. The students must score the minimum required cutoff to qualify for the counselling session.
