The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the result of NEET 2017 exam in the next 2-3 days. NEET result 2017 was expected to be released on June 20. On results.gov.in, the official exam results website of government of India, a notification of the announcement of NEET result 2017 on June 20 was published. (Check the snapshots below). However, this notification has been removed now. Also, as per the latest media reports, the result will not be announced today.
The link to NEET result will be provided on this page as soon as it is announced by the CBSE. To check and download NEET result, the candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth. NEET result 2017 will contain several details such as the candidate’s name, gender, date of birth, Nationality, category/Sub-category, total marks secured, total marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology etc. There are around 90000 MBBS and BDS seats in medical and dental colleges of the country which will be offered to the eligible candidates based on the NEET Score.
This year, NEET exam was surrounded by several controversies. Many students complained about lack of uniformity in NEET 2017. The petition was filed in Madras and Gujarat High Court to re conduct NEET. Acting on the plea, the Madras HC ordered a stay on the NEET result. The stay was removed by the Supreme Court on June 12. Due to this, there was delay in release of NEET OMR sheet and answer key. However, now when the NEET OMR and answer key has been published, the result will be declared soon.
How to download NEET 2017 Result
Below are the steps to be followed in order to check and download NEET 2017 result

- A dialogue box will appear on the screen.
- Enter the date of birth and roll number in the respective column.
- Now, click on the submit column.
- NEET 2017 result will be displayed on the screen.
The candidates are advised to preserve two to three copies of the NEET result for the future reference.
NEET 2017 Counselling will be organised for 15% All India Quota (AIQ). It is expected to commence in the month of July. It will be conducted by the Medical Council Committee (MCC) in online mode. 15% of the seats in Government medical and dental colleges of India are reserved for All India quota.
