NEET 2017 will Be Considered as 1st Attempt, Clarifies CBSEConsidering the protest by the students and parents, over the capped age limit and number of attempts, CBSE has issued a notice erasing the chaos. The earlier notice by MCI stated that there will only be 3 attempts valid for NEET. However, in the latest notification by CBSE, it has been made clear that the candidates NEET 2017 will be the first attempt for all the applicants. AIPMT or NEET taken earlier will not be counted as an attempt.

In the previous session, NEET was held twice and many candidates appeared for both the phases, 1 and 2. Also, the candidates have been preparing from 3-4 years for the NEET and since they have already appeared 3 times, were not allowed earlier.
