The counselling of Tamil Nadu PG medical 2018 will be conducted offline in two rounds. Candidates included in Tamil Nadu PG medical merit list 2018 will be eligible for counselling procedure. Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2018 Counselling Round 1

During the commencement of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling, aspirants have to report at the venue as prescribed by the admission committee. Step 5 – Tamil Nadu PG medical 2018 counselling – admission letter

After the verification of documents, aspirants will be issued an admission letter. Candidates must collect the admission letter of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling before leaving the venue. The admission letter must be produced in front of authority of allotted college.

Step 6 – Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling 2018 – reporting at allotted college

Aspirants must report at the allotted colleges along with the admission letter to the allotted colleges for completion of admission procedure. If they fail to report at the college, the admission granted to them will be cancelled.

Step 7 – Medical examination at Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling 2018

Aspirants who will be granted admission to Tamil Nadu PG medical 2018, aspirants must undergo the medical examination conducted by medical admission committee on the specified dates. The unfit aspirants will not be considered to join the course.

Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2018 Counselling Round 2

After the completion of first round of counselling, the counselling authority will organise the second round of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling to fill the vacant seats left. Aspirants who will be eligible to appear for Tamil Nadu PG medical 2018 counselling are:

  • Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling 2018.
  • Aspirants who were allotted seats in the first round but did not reported or joined the college for completion of admission process can also participate in Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling second round.
  • All the remaining aspirants who were left toe appear for counselling can appear for the round 2.

Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2018 Counselling – Mop up round

In case, if the seats will be left vacant after both rounds, Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu will conduct the mop up round of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling 2018. The objective to conduct the mop up round of Tamil Nadu PG medical 2018 counselling will be to ensure that no PG medical seats will be left vacant for the particular academic session.

Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2018 Counselling – Fee Deposition

According to the order of the Supreme Court of India, during common counselling aspirants must deposit the required tuition fees to the counselling committee, DME, Tamil Nadu, in form of demand draft payable to the institute/college/university. In the notification issued by DGHS and the state government, the admission committee must also mentioned the fees structure of deemed universities and private medical institutes. If the tuition fee will be paid through demand draft, there will be no scope for colleges to refuse the admission of any candidate.
