Note - 1) In both the shifts, 15 minutes’ cool-off time has been provided to the examinees to read and understand the questions. Like before, the spastic and the handicapped students who are themselves incapable to write exams will be given the facility to have the writer. Such candidates will be allowed to have an extra time of 15 minutes per hour in the stipulated time of examination.

2) For blind examinees, the examination of Home Science instead of Mathematics and Music instead of Science will be taken according to the old syllabus, like before.

Statistical Overview of Bihar Board 10th Result

The table given below displays the overall pass percentage, girls’ and boys’ pass percentages and the total number of students for last 5 years. The table reveals that the girls’ pass percentage has remained in between 37% and 46% (approximately), while the boys’ pass percentage has been in between 51% and 54%. Thus, here, there is the other way around as far as the national-wide trend of girls outperforming the boys is concerned. The overall pass percentage has dipped massively in 2016 and then, rose a bit in 2017. About the Bihar Board

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) was constituted in 1966 in Patna. It oversees the supervision, regulation, and development of secondary and higher secondary level school education in Bihar.
