The Meghalaya Board conducts the SSLC annual and supplementary exams in the months of March and August, every year. Note 1: Indian Languages comprise Khasi, Garo, Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, Urdu and Mizo.

About the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education

Constituted in the year 1973 in Tura, the Meghalaya Board oversees all the important responsibilities of SSLC and HSSLC examinations in the schools which are affiliated to it in the state such as prescribing of the syllabus, conducting the exams and certification of the same. After the year 1996, the Board started handling all the academic matters that were related with the framing of the syllabus for all the classes.
